'kin 'ell, sounds like something you'd find in some back street Oirish boozer. In which case you'll probably like this... ...probably mentions 'Cork' in there somewhere as well!
-
They really do believe all that ol' crap down there... Thick c**nts.
-
See...that's where it all falls apart. "Wife"...Ho-Ho-Ho. As if.
-
Nailed on for the skates...new signing Riqueleme personally requested him.

Thank you Corpy.

Circa 50...and should know better.

I see she's back again. I'll have a stab at one of Ho-Ho-Ho's other indentities...

OMG we're getting a new pitch as well...they kept that f**kin quiet. Where will it all end?

I wonder if Cortese has got one eye on this...?

This would be a very attractive proposition for any club and could see some reserve games very well supported. You can see the interest they'd be having the opportunity to watch Saints res up against Barca, Real, Milan, etc. youngsters if we ever got involved. -
Difference being we were then on a rapid downward spiral, fans were generally disillussioned and Lowe returning compounded it. If everything goes to plan and we can eventually re-establish ourselves in the Prem then I would say a capacity around 40k would be realistic. Whether it's cost effective or not remains to be seen, the only way I could see it would be to build a tier above the Kingsland with more corporate/banqueting suites between. That would potentially generate more income than seats alone. Something for 'down the line' but it's little secret that expansion of some sort has already been discussed in the boardroom.

I think some are being a bit too critical of some of the efforts, I shouldn't think there's too many graphic designers amongst us. They're probably just ideas that most would...I know I did...think that would be eventually done by someone professional. Another 'idea', wouldn't have a clue if it would work on a big flag or not and I'm sure not good enough resolution for that size.

Still think this is almost there: Would like to see this one with the colours reversed: ...and this one with the distressed font of the first.
-
I'd agree best design so far. I like Crab Lungs choice of font and Krakens lay-out but would need to be re-jigged if the dimensions were correct before removing the badge. Maybe (but still a bit cheesy)... SAINT MARKUS WITH US FOREVER

Wonder if Gecko would have a go? He likes doing the kits.
-
...a few earlier ones...Ivan Golac, Ronnie Ecklund (if only), Berkovic when he first arrived and that french geezer...Le Tissier-something-or-other...
-
They'll do far better than just survive, I can see them having a good season...top half finish.
-
...those images that doggface linked are just a 'lookie-likie' of the swatch I was shown. It was not the entire shirt, just a sample section. I know of a few others that have seen the same thing...I guess we'll just have to wait (after July 1st, new signings parading the new kit imo) and see if it's pukka.
-
You know the deal doggface...I could tell ya but then I'd have to k...... Just something I was shown some time back...if it doesn't resemble them when we finally get to see in a few weeks feel free to come back and flame me...
-
I'd say you're getting warm for the away...'aap' in red and you'd be getting warmer...

TBF as Noadswood is on the Waterside and a good few miles outside of Southampton I doubt many from the city would be aware of any reputation. I'm from the west side of Southampton and Shirley Warren and Millbrook were always top dogs around there in my days but there were plenty of others over east that had equally rough reputations. Anyway back to Barney...if he didn't do it I hope gets off but if he did what's been suggested then he certainly wont and wouldn't deserve to tbf.

Your help needed (Markus Liebherr Tribute) - DONATIONS SITE NOW LIVE
alehouseboys replied to JustMike's topic in The Saints
Total so far £3259.80, as expected only a couple of hundred raised in the past 2-3 weeks. Mike, you did say you may put up a list of names on your website of those who've donated, is that going to happen? It would be good to see if all those that have said they 'had' or 'would' have actually done it yet...and it would give me a good opportunity to kick a few up the arse at work if they haven't! Any chance of the 'Pink' article being repeated in the Daily Echo...they must be scrambling for good football stories right now? -
"Every day, there is corruption, match-fixing scandals. This is not football. We are not talking about football here. This is not something that people who watch football deserve." ...nor taking performance enhancing drugs or punching the ball into the net or diving, hacking and cheating (Argies 1966) or...

Actually if you look closer there's a 'M' and a 'W'...'kin 'ell, Michael Wilde's also involved!!!

Guess it depends on what was said. Carrow Road has been bursting at the seams regardless of what division they've been in so they've clearly done something right.

...obviously sung very quietly Was thinking around £450 so can live with £465...and (as expected) they didn't move the away fans.
