  1. It holds 3000 but we'll get nearer half of that with a big chunk of segregation either side of us. We don't "always" struggle to sell them, they haven't always sold out immediately on the ballot but once they opened up to all they go. 9,000 wasn't anywhere near enough in 1984, there were even forgeries for the fartton end going around certain section of Saints fans We will have no trouble selling these tickets, there wont be enough to satisfy demand.
  2. Apologies, but if you believe that then you are very deluded I'm afraid.
  3. If you were there in 05 then I can't believe anyone would risk missing an opportunity to wipe that spineless display from the memory. I don't care how I get down there any more just that I'm gonna be there. I was there in 84, when Steve Moran bent the net that feeling was up there with the best. 9,000 Saints fans (officially) were there that day and the ones who missed out are still probably regretting it to this day. If we're gonna do 'em down there I want to be there to witness it. And rub their dirty, cheating f*cking faces in it.
  4. When they announced there were only 1500 left a few days back it now looks like that was with blocks 1 and 2 unopened. I've only heard of people with tickets in block 3 over there. If that is the case there must have been around 29,000 sold at that point, they've been selling tickets for 3 days since so it must now be well over 30k but if those blocks remain close the biggest gate we could possibly see would be around 31k.
  5. If they turn us over on Tuesday and go top I think they'll stay there...and probably run away with it. After missing out on him (so they say) Baldock's found his scoring boots...you know what will happen. Still, I wont complain if we 'only' take second place come end of season.
  6. Well thank f*ck that extra 5000 turned up...a paltry 6261 would have looked very embarrassing on the telebox, whereas an impressive 11,2...oh...
  7. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2483127,00.html 1500 tickets left, they'll be gone by Monday afternoon. I assume they've opened block 1.
  8. Jo Brand. Big fat dykey looking one.
  9. West Ham have just been given an initial allocation of 4000 but could get more tickets once sold. Only £22 adult, easy to get to, can see another big away day coming up. Then on to Brizzol..........
  10. It certainly is when we've got a home game a few days later followed by another away just after and the numbers travelling to Reading. Also interesting to compare Deby's last game was away to 'local' rivals Leicester live on Sky and took 1300. Next week we travel twice as far for a game on Sky and are taking 4,000+. You can't knock that support. One other thing, I thought clubs had to offer away supporters the same prices like-for-like as home supporters in the same priced seats. Derby have been giving away tickets and there's also been cut-priced deals on Groupon (they must have got their tickets from somewhere) for the equivalent seats as those Saints fans that are paying full price for. I wonder if they should have offered a percentage of aways at deal prices? Just a thought.
  11. Saw this on one of their fans sites: it's on: Jazeera Sport +5 C+ Sport (DK) L'equipe TV (FR) Sportkulb (PL) Supersport 5 (AL) TV4 Sport (SK) Viasat Football (NO) Plus it will be on Bet365 for those outside of the UK. There probably will be a dodgy pub somewhere to watch it as Jazeera sport only costs £80 for the whole year and is very receivable in the UK if you have the correct equipment. Loads of pubs/arab coffee bars in manchester have it.
  12. This is a tough one. They seem to be well up for this match, expecting a big crowd, 30k plus. They've had a number of ticket deals going for this one including sending out a free ticket to all ex-ST holders who didn't renew this season so their club have realised they need every advantage to take on the mighty Saints. I'd take a sound defensive showing and a 0-0, a good point from a testing fixture.
  13. Couldn't be any worse than the view you get from the Spinnaker. Other than looking down on HMS Victory the rest is just a sh*thole. If it's high enough you would get a reasonable view, forest across Southampton Water, IOW beyond Fawley's chimneys (that look quite spectacular all lit up at night tbf) and great views of the big ships. Build more nice shiny towers like the one proposed for Ocean Village (would be Southampton's most striking building) and they'd catch the eye from up there. Build upwards, the higher the better as far as I'm concerned. Have a look what's proposed for Liverpool, spectacular.
  14. Golden Grove (by Albion Towers - right opposite the Plume) if they get they get there early enough or Lime Street Car Park behind Debenhams, there's lots of spaces but with a big crowd expected wouldn't want to arrive too late. 5 minute walk to the Plume.
  15. Looks like you could get to see the Derby game too overseas...or in that 'RED, WHITE and blue' pub down in p*rtsmuff http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=181&fid=16&sty=2&act=1&mid=2116193119
  16. Just posted on the away forum, the first allocation of 3,000 has just about all been snapped up by ST Holders, they go on General Sale on Monday so the rest should go pretty quickly. Good to hear it's 4,200, wonder if they'll offer any more if they fly out the door?
  17. Got tickets for this today and just about all the first allocation of 3,000 has been taken up by ST holders. They go on General Sale on Monday so the next allocation, I think another 800, looks like it will be quickly snapped up. If you're still thinking about it it's maybe a good idea to get on and make a decision. I don't know how many Reading will let us have in total but with 2 weeks still to go I reckon we can shift a fair few more yet.
  18. I find they are a right c*nt for getting loose change out of your pocket and don't get me started on trying to hold my halftime pint. Think I might just wear the one at future games.

  20. It's already sold out due to the fact this is the first game the duplicate STs kick in. Record attendance expected at SMS tbh it will probably be easier to get out of Parkhurst than get into SMS that day
  21. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2472305,00.html Looks like they may have responded to your request.
  22. Not really, although I would think we'll take around 2,500. Derby took just 1300 to Leicester yesterday for their top-of-the-table East Midlands 'derby' out of a crowd of 22,000. Now that's "criminal".
  23. You missed a bit
  24. Drew away to today's opponents that day 1-1. Andy Townsend, 12 mins in, 25 yard screamer. and I'm sure the OP did have have his tongue firmly in his cheek DP
  25. Looks like they'd sold about 1000 by yesterday, probably have around 1500. http://www.watfordfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~2465591,00.html A win on Saturday to take up to Derby, ta.
