You summed it all up perfectly. Our football these days is BORING & largely INNEFFECTIVE. Puel's cautious nature is finally infiltrating our DNA & its awful to watch.

Spot on, well said that man. Its all terribly disappointing but ultimately 'twas inevitable once we dared to challenge the "bigger" clubs. Just proves again that the only loyalty in football come from the fans. Everyone else involved only cares about the cash.

Must be age as I'm with both of you on this. My interest in football has been steadily waning for a few years - not because of Saints fortunes, but because of the whole money thing. Its tough to identify with players these days, especially in the top divisions.

Better & cheaper to buy Pompey & close it down IMHO!
