Without wanting to be 'controversial' - its seems we want it both ways.... we hate the way that the club doesn't treat us 'fans' but rather as £££ or 'customers', then say that attendenace is down to giving the 'customers' value for money? Sorry but surely if we want the club to appreciate that Football is NOT like other businesses, we need to sure that as FANs of teh club, we support the side that is put out there - not just because it conatins a few stars - but whether its Keegan or Olly Lancahsire, when they put on the shirt they deserve our support... surely? I can understand the expense in the current climate, etc, but when Man U came to town at £30 we had no shortage of takers....

Thing is he has a point - it does not really matter the raesons why fans have stayed away - what cannot be denied is the impact this has on revenue - now how that revenue would have been utilised and teh impact it would have made on the results is another matter - but the fact reamins, that at a time when we lost some 30mil in TV revenue, it was made worse by loosing an additional 5-6 mil in gate receipts.

True, but its less about the symtoms that caused the admin and more about teh consequences... same as Brighton whose ground was sold etc. I do think the consequences could be quite hideous....

LOwe wants to get rid of Jan but we cant afford the pay off really, so Hockadya goes leaving an opening at Academy level - JP is moved sideways as Academy Director (would not be such a bad move) - wotte stays looking after reserves leaving an opening for a new man as Dowie takes the reigns?

It would not be surprizing, especially as the abnk may have been expecting a cash injection about now from player sales which have to date not materialised...

Dave Armstrong was a great player and servant for the club and as many have pointed out should be treated with the respect he deserves. However, I am only speculating here, he is known for his strong views that he airs on the radio which is fine and he is perfectly entitled to say hat he believes and be respected for it. If however, he was at the club in some sort of hospitality function either officially or unofficially, and was openly critical in an area wher club sponsors, suppliers and associates were then he should in that case hopefully have been more restrained. That would go for any walk of life. If you go to a party and slag of the hosts (speculation again), dont eb surprized if you dont get asked back ...
