Why are pro-Lowers MORE vociferous now??
Frank's cousin replied to Legod Third Coming's topic in The Saints
Sorry that its that sort of 'punditry that really ****es me off because there ios NO big moissing millions we have independently audited accounts as a PLC and its clear to see where ALL the moneys went - these old managers ex players jumping on the schardenfreude bandwagon have simply not done any homework and are ignorant - its embarrassing listening to once respected players talking susch utter sh!te. Where we fecked up is what we spent it on. -
Why didint the fans save us from administration?

Bangs head against brik wall/desk/keyboard - its never feckin been about just Lowe and the HItlet anology is frankly abit beneath you mate. Look see it as you want, to wahatever level - he has gone never to return so it makes feck all difference anyway, I just hope that those so vociferously against anything that he did, to teh extent of not bothering with due diligence over the next set of clowns have learnt something from all this.... we need to be far more careful about what we wish for, then maybe we might get a board that gets more right than it gets wrong - 51% would do me. -

How long you got? There were pros to many of the initiatives and approaches taken by lowe even some of those that did not work - many failed in crap execution, does not make the idea wrong... its just an alternative perspective and you know it really ;-) -

Nope - the reason why we are in this mess is money - or lack of it - how we got into that situation is due 90% due to relegation and 10% to whats happened since - whats behind this is more complex but yes most of it leads to decisions made by young Rupert, some to Wilde and Crouch, some to managers and some to players who could not be arsed. Understnding the complexities is interseting to some, and importantly, hopefully a good way of ensuring we dont make the same mistakes again - oh and some of probably think that the hate thing, ans over emotive crap aimed at teh main but not only culprit is a bit sad really... in a nutshell like. -

Do you know from the way you post you sound like a WW2 Spitfire pilot 'Wotto - old bean, just had a bash at the Fence you know - think I got the bastard with a full on double barrals in the wedding tackle, bit of a Lowe blow but hey - hes an evil swine you know - double agent' ....mean while back in reality Frank tries once again for the 100th time to try and help the 'pilot Alps (DFM, VD Bar and Scar)' to distinguish between being supportive of a person and supportive of an approach or even just understaning it and accepting it has both pros and cons.... but that bit of shrapnel lodged in the left buttock that he took over Dover has permanently damaged 7 of the 32 neurons in his brain.... so I must be sensitive to his plight. -

I think its a matter of interpretation. For many its black and white, for others if shades of grey and some just find it odd that only one person is blamed when the biggest single culprit is frankly the unhealthy financial divide between the Prem and the rest - the 30mil loss of revenue when relegated - which as its sport remember someone has to have afflicted to them - can you imagine any other walk of life in which at teh satrt of the year 3 business from 20 are going to have their income reduced by 60% at the end simply because 3 have to? The recent **** is llsightly different from teh relegation losses in that they could have been prevented IF the board had a) not been bull****ted to by Wilde re investors in teh wings, b) CRouch had vetoed spening the money we did not have confirmed - but in both cases they were responding to the fan calls for 'ambition' and football firts which to be fair were a natural reaction to the 'prudent years' under Rupert - We should not have forgotten though that it was not prudence that relegated us, but mis spending what we did have. Why are more saying this now, I dont think they are, its just taht whilst we wait in hope for a buyer, its very much a current topic. -
Sorry, Alps hs now rechristened me 'Fence's cousin' not very original but enough to work with - bit or remoddelling maybe before I ask Granty boy to change the moniker dont you think?

Keep em comming... ;-) REvenge will be sweet hahhahhaha (evil sort of Hammar horror laugh) -
hey? did I miss something? Its like one of those ITV telephone things they had a few years back - kinda like a cheapo version of 'children in need' (is it me or is ITV a tacky version of the beeb? am I a TV snob ?) x 3 - so which one will emerge as winners?
-
Are you on one side or perched on the middle? and which side is the right side? Questions questions its all too much for me... i must go and sit down... ;-)

fingers? is that some kind of mob based trading? or symbolic. two fingers or middle finger to the bastards? -
I do believe 64K so far - which is (seriously) an impressive sum - but saadly some way short of the 5-10mil or so we would ned for a rescue package....

This is indeed an excellent idea - cunning even

That's the second time today I have fallen off my chair- no one does sarcasm quite like you GM - Classic ;-)

And that in a nutshell is what many of us are worried about....

Indeed it must be a good line to be in - if a bit like hyenas - picking at the lifeless remains. to take their share before the vultures arrive - what we need is a lion to scare them both off and try the kiss of life? (analogy breakdown alert - sort of had legs to satrt with but fizzeled out ...I'll get my coat)

To be honest its all quite reasonable - but lacking the positives Crouch also had - you could then draw up tables for Lowe in a similar vein pros and cons - everybody has them... naturally as individual fans we all place varying degrees of emphasis on different criteria eg some of us are risk averse, some more gung ho in spirit - all fans just different perspectives but it will mean depending on what we believe to be more important criteria that we have differeing opinions on who amongst these IMPERFECT choices we felt was better to have at the helm - simple really ;-) -
Thats an interesting perspective - the timing thing I mean - because may have argued that its badly timed due to the relegation battle, but I do think what you say in terms of hopefully wrapping something up to start afresh BEFORE the 'closed' seaosn does have that advantage - but I suspect thats just coincidence rather thanplanned - the key is to find someone who can move quickly before then...
