  1. Out of interest, who of our ‘10’s’ do you think is better? He might be a typical modern footballer, i.e a bit of a prick, but he’s a bloody good player. would instantly improve us and anyone outside the top 4 teams.
  2. I’ve not seen a great deal of it, but what I have seen the standard has been pretty poor. Especially in that game last night, which was a quarter final. Funny enough, of the limited I’ve seen, I’ve seen Austria twice and there LB is appalling. She can hardly get the ball off the ground when trying to put in a cross. I can only assume she’s right footed playing LB.
  3. Spot on mate. They’re getting a 15-20m+ player for free. So could easily pay that extra in salary
  4. Racist
  5. Agree. Pisses all over every single one of our AM’s. He’s Too old for this place to get excited about though. Weird.
  6. Some scoop if true. Absolutely no one knew we were in the market for a striker.
  7. To be fair, why does it matter 😂 I can’t imagine many have even noticed it to be honest.
  8. Clearly, comparing him to Long was a joke.
  9. And a charismatic, untouchable Austrian running the show… it’s all starting to make sense.
  10. I remember someone made the assessment last season, when comparing Broja to Armstrong… what ever happened to him
  11. Certainly sounds like I potentially could be. I hope he’s not our first choice and is there to replace Armstrong rather than Broja! (I.e back up not starting).
  12. Could you not also argue, lavia, Banzunu are also on their way down (after leaving city for us..?) Funny how some people spin things, isn’t it. FWIW neither are on their way down and someone like Lingaard would massively improve us (not saying we should pay 180k a week for him btw)
  13. That article may compare him to Mbappe, but having only scored 6 goals, I’d say he’s probably more comparable to Shane Long?
  14. Is ‘saintsy’ just the new young, hungry and therefore guaranteed to improve?
  15. Never heard of him, looks promising by all accounts. Seems a sensible, good deal. hope it’s not the only one though. And I hope 14m isn’t ‘significant funds’ to SR.
  16. Or Norway are just total shite? One thing I’ve noticed is that the weaker teams are soo soo poor and far behind the ‘stronger’ ones. I bet you never get an upset.
  17. Had they not signed Eriksen, I think they’d have been in a lot more bother than they were. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they drop. Between them and Leeds and arguably Everton, they’ve all got weaker this window. Bournemouth haven’t spent much and have a championship team Imo and I don’t know much about Fulham. perosnally, I think everton will be fine, then it’s a toss up between the promoted sides and us, Brentford, Leeds and maybe Brighton in terms of who goes down.
  18. As a full package, considering you’re getting a 15-20m+ player for nothing, it doesn’t work out to be all that bad. However, it’s the break in wage structure that’s the issue. It’s a shame as he probably could have his pick of clubs for anyone outside of Liverpool, Chelsea and City, if his wage demands weren’t so high. Badly advised is probably an understatement. If Forest are willing to cough up for him, then fair play, he’ll go a long way to keeping them up and they’ll have (on paper) a pretty decent side, with a very good manager.
  19. I don’t know a great deal about either of them, they look alright on the highlights reels from what I’ve seen. Delap is unproven, but we do have Adams and Armstrong who’ll both need to step up as well next season.

An incredible ending, I thought I’d seen it all in 2019 with the wold cup final and Stokes heroics in the ashes cup but this matched those for drama. Incredible of Ellis to compose himself and hold his nerve at the end after thinking they’ve won it.
  21. Delap and that lad out in Germany we’ve been linked with, would be a very good set of replacements for Long and Broja.
  22. So do we now compare to men’s football, or don’t we… I’m confused.
  23. I’m sure there is heat maps etc. To back me up or prove me wrong, but from what I’ve seen on us (in the flesh), out of possession, Romeu is the one who plays more advanced trying to win the ball higher up the pitch.
  24. Doesn’t look like a sell out to me.. plenty of empty seats scattered about from what I can see on the box.
  25. I’m with you, I like him. Tidy player. My only reservation is he’s tidy, but a bit of nothing. He could do with a bit extra bite. Sorta what JWP has developed.
