Yep, nothing has changed. He and JWP still can’t play together.

Ha! Touché.. but no; I think Ralph’s time is up. I’m not sure he’s right for us. I’m sure he’ll move on and do well elsewhere, but I don’t foresee it being here. I Agree with this. It always frustrates me when someone says ‘x’ manager is poor because he was relegated or ‘y’ manager is past it because they're struggling this season. There are many factors which may cause a team to lose form.
-
It’s a really daft and simplistic way of looking at things. Poch was sacked with Espanyol bottom of the league, was he out of touch… Even Sir Alex was under pressure at one point.
-
Both would be a huge improvement on Ralph, Rodgers especially.
-
Ralph or any manager for that matter, will have an input on who we sign and targets within our budget. If he can’t get a tune out of players in our budget, then let’s get someone in who can then please 👍🏻
-
Not very well, either.
-
If a big European club wanted him, he’d be off. He’s not getting the offers from those clubs because he’s vastly overrated.
-
This clearly won’t happen, we all know that. However, I find it really interesting to see where his next move will be. Seemingly not getting the major jobs, having recently rejected by Chelsea and United. Has said previously he won’t manage Arsenal and Barca. other than perhaps Italy, I just don’t see where his next move will be…? Back to Tottenham? I don’t think it’s as unrealistic as it seems for him to join a club like ours, but again, I don’t think (actually I know), he wouldn’t come back here. We can all dream though… right.
-
According to the Ralph cult, there is no one, absolutely no one out there who can replace him. There’s absolutely no chance we could possibly appoint someone ‘left field’ from Europe, who’s seen to be a bit of a coup…We never do that, I mean look at our last managerial appointment….

Ironically, that was Redmonds downfall. Had the ability to be a top player for us but lacked the confidence. Always seemed to shine against the lower league teams in the cup but rarely did in the league. Probably a victim of playing for us at the worst possible time in recent years on and off the pitch where the atmosphere was rock bottom. And he had the added pressure of being the replacement for Mane. Anyhow, a top lad off the pitch. Wish him well and I think he’ll shine in Turkey. He may come back with a new hairline and new breath of confidence!

I’ve seen some crap on here, but this is probably the worst. It’s like reading a MLT twitter post. Paranoid nonsense
-
He looked crap before that anyway. Reminded me of that Big geezer who Burnley signed last season, who also came from Germany. Doesn’t look quick enough and funny enough strong enough for the PL. lucky escape I’d say.

Genuine question here, Why do you think ex pro’s would be any better. You could end up having people like Sol Campbell and Dwight York who is question their sanity. Then you have the good old equality act, so you’ll end up having a bird in there, whom mostly are absolutely clueless, like that idiot liane Saunders or whatever her name is. The most annoying thing I’ve ever come across. The issue here is the pure incompetence of POGMOL and the clowns running it. Refs have absolutely no accountably, don’t need to answer their mistakes and generally are massively protected. The standard is way beyond, below average. I don’t know how that improves to be honest, but it needs to start at grass roots and getting younger, better players involved. Fast tracking the good ones. VAR isn’t the issue, it’s the morons controlling it. Worth saying that without VAR, none of the issues from yesterday would have changed…

I don’t know the ins and outs of the deal for Lavia. But as an example, if City have set a buy back of £40m, we are legally bound to accept an approach from city of 40m. We could theoretically also accept an offer from say Chelsea at £50m at the same time and let the player decide where he goes. in the case of Tino, the buy back doesn’t activate until a certain date. So we aren’t legally bound to accept anything before that date. We can still sell him before, if we want.
-
What was the XG of Che’s chance? Got to be as close to 1 as there ever has been. Such a shame TWar isn’t still about to tell us it wasn’t a sitter because it has an XG of 0.3 Or something.
-
Without trying to go all MLG…. City don’t have to agree anything. They have a buy back clause so theoretically could get him for lower than the market rate (whatever fee agreed was), but we can accept other bids from other clubs. Simply means if they match the buy back clause (say £40m - as an example, I’ve no idea what it is), we have to accept their offer. We could still accept offers for more or less from other clubs, if we want.
-
I’m not so sure, he has a bit of a reputation of missing ‘sitters’, this one being the worse. he’s certainly below par in front of goal and if he’s our main man up top, on his own, it’ll be a big problem for us.
-
No, clearly not. however, dog & duck striker wouldn’t have missed that chance.
-
I cba to sit and watch them all, but the first 2 are much harder. The ball come at them at pace, this looped onto Che’s head, we’ll arm. Harder to miss than score there and he done it.
-
Yes, correct, a new striker and we win 😊
-
I honestly don’t think I’ve seen an easier chance missed in my lifetime.
-
He’s a battering ram, that’s about it. Perfect in a 2, not clinical enough as a lone striker.
-
I’d happily wage a significant amount of money that no other PL striker, or player actually, would have missed that header from 2 yards.
-
He seemingly gets taken off about this time every game.. fitness issues? It seems odd when chasing the game As he’s easily our most creative player.
-
0 composure. I’d expect an U9 to score that.
