I feel for Jones a touch. He should never have been offered the job but that’s not his fault and I don’t blame him for taking it. This is all on SR. Left it way to long to sack Ralph, letting good candidates go to other clubs. Never signed a much needed striker, gambled on young and generally no better than we already had players. It was obviously a terrible appointment at the time and it’s shown in the flesh to be exactly that.

I think it’s blinding obvious that SR want us to play a back 3. If they’re trying to enforce that or not I obviously cannot say, but that definitely seems to be their preferred formation. There’s a reason why Jones was appointed, it obviously wasn’t he managerial pedigree. So far, really not impressed with SR.

The Ox is a much better player than Theo. If we could get 5-10 games out of him, that is potentially enough to keep us up. The big question / concern is “if” though. Id snap him up in a heartbeat if the deal was right. id much rather he played 5-10 games for us than playing 5-10 games for bournemouth or Leeds.

Oh I fully agree. My list was in no particular order. If I was a betting man, I’d say us, forest and Bournemouth. But I think Leeds lack quality, just as much as we do.
