AMN is a very capable RB. Easily the best choice of what we’ve got. Let’s hope Lavia is fit so we can play him there.
-
His point was; The best players from South America would go to Europe (Spain or Portugal usually), not the MLS.
-
I disagree with this, I think we looked poor as a back 4, but where I’ll credit him is Ralph changed to a back 5 after about 20 minutes, and all of those 5 were fantastic.
-
I was thinking about this, which is why I set up thread to discuss it. it’s difficult. One of my thoughts were; a. First time customers have to either pick up 1 day before the game or have delivered to an SO postcode. b. Only allow ‘members’ to buy tickets and price membership at a cost which will act as a deterrent for 1 time customers. c. Make every single first time buyer buy a match day kit, meaning the ticket price would be near on £100. If someone wants a ticket they’ll get one. We probably need to just make it more difficult or expensive for them to get one.

Perhaps fans around them need to take action into their own hands and give them a good old kick in, rather than running to stewards. We’re far too welcoming. Can you imagine an away fan jumping up celebrating at Millwall or the likes? Wouldn’t happen, if someone was stupid enough to, they wouldn’t again.
-
First 20 minutes aside, very good solid performance. Even if we’d lost that I’d have been happy. Battled and defended extremely well. Had Che been fit to start it maybe would have been a different game as AA offered very little. Back 5 all outstanding.
-
Seems like it happened again today, so the question is, what can be done about it? In the clubs defence, it’s not an easy one for them to manage or police who is buying the tickets. If away fans want to get there hands on tickets in the home end, they will.

He looked onside then, why didn’t he leave the flag down and wait to see the outcome of the attack, like they do every other time?
-
If Ralph rocks up at villa park, that would very much be a possibility I expect. Danny wasn’t a huge fan…
-
Incredibly simplistic way of looking at things. We went to a back 5 very early on, despite looking relatively comfortable. We invited pressure and on another day, could have easily conceded. We battled well and that was great to see. Adams was fantastic and set the tone, but Bournemouth were very poor imo. It seemed the occasion got the better of them, they looked more interested in kicking us in the first half, than trying to get on the front foot. For me, we won in spite of Ralph rather than because of him.

It definitely happened, I’ve got great hearing so hear a lot. I was sat round the in-laws eating a roast, whilst listening on the radio and I heard his voice in the background.
-
I don’t disagree with this. Still, doesn’t mean he’s right for us. We need a manager to get the best out of what we have… Ralph isn’t.
-
I think he’ll take another job in the future, but I think he’d be foolish to rush into another job, especially in the PL. He needs some time away to find himself and his style again. His intense nature must take it out of him. He certainly looks broken.

A bit like saying, “I’m autistic, I remember everything, it happened” as evidence of your claim. If there were boos at the end of the Huddersfield game, it could have been aimed at anything, the ref, the players, sammy the saint. “I heard boos on the radio, therefore fans wanted him out after 10 games” is a ridiculously weak argument.

There is a select few who will not blame Ralph regardless of what happens. They could find Ralph in bed with their wife and they’d tuck him in. He’s had every excuse under the sun given to him. Not his squad, injuries, bad eggs in the camp and now ‘but we didn’t sign a striker’. Some of them justified (injuries), others just absolute cop outs to void Ralph of any responsibility. Yes we didn’t sign a striker this season, but we’re not even playing well, we could stick Haaland up there and our pedestrian build up would just isolate him. In fact, over the past 4 years, brilliance in the form of 2 exceptional runs of from 2 strikers (ings then Broja) and JWP turning Free kicks into penalties, papered over a lot of cracks. If Ralph hadn’t managed RB, was English, looked like Steve cooper and spoke like Puel, he’d have been out the door a long, long time ago.
-
Rubbish as per, Mr War. Probably why you’re on your 3rd account 😂
-
That’s not what has been said at all
-
Thoughts on Ralph. I said it about Puel and I intend to remain consistent. Regardless of how you think he’s performing / performed, he’s lost the dressing room and therefore needs to go.
-
I still find it utterly bizarre that the CEO, who had no intention of stepping down/leaving was allowed to cherry pick our next owner… who’ve conveniently kept him in charge. Talk about a vested interest.
-
Good to see they’ve let mental manji use the computers at the mental asylum again tonight.
-
Theres a whole thread on a meltdown about our head of recuirtment leaving, yet there is also some people who think the window was that bad that Redmond would improve the squad. i don’t think I’ve seen a fan base so split 😂
-
I think the real question you should be asking here, Manji, is was Shields ever at City or was it all just made up by the western media… you mugs will believe anything.
-
He’s changed his tune… I thought us fans were arrogant for expecting better!? surely a club batting to stay in the PL and lucky to be there can’t expect staff to stay when they’re offered a chance to join a CL club..!!!!
-
If City wouldn’t sell them to us (with a buy back clause almost certain to be in there), they’re not going to sell to Chelsea….
-
All jokes aside, I wonder if SR have decided they would like to take a more active approach in transfer dealings? (Pretty sure I saw somewhere that Rasmus was the main negotiator in a few deals this summer). Tbf, can’t say I blame Shiels for leaving, he’s been offered a once in a life time opportunity, you don’t really turn the likes of Chelsea down…
