He’s crap and always has been, he just had a purple patch which masked his fragilities. Another semmens fuck up not selling when he had a degree of value. Very, very average player.

I feel for Jones a touch. He should never have been offered the job but that’s not his fault and I don’t blame him for taking it. This is all on SR. Left it way to long to sack Ralph, letting good candidates go to other clubs. Never signed a much needed striker, gambled on young and generally no better than we already had players. It was obviously a terrible appointment at the time and it’s shown in the flesh to be exactly that.

I think it’s blinding obvious that SR want us to play a back 3. If they’re trying to enforce that or not I obviously cannot say, but that definitely seems to be their preferred formation. There’s a reason why Jones was appointed, it obviously wasn’t he managerial pedigree. So far, really not impressed with SR.

The trouble is, I also fear the club do as well…

Realistically, if we want to have a chance of staying up we need at a minimum (and this is people with quality, not cheap, young crap); Keeper DM attackers x 2 Its not gonna happen, you’re looking the best part of £100m for that.

The Ox is a much better player than Theo. If we could get 5-10 games out of him, that is potentially enough to keep us up. The big question / concern is “if” though. Id snap him up in a heartbeat if the deal was right. id much rather he played 5-10 games for us than playing 5-10 games for bournemouth or Leeds.

Oh I fully agree. My list was in no particular order. If I was a betting man, I’d say us, forest and Bournemouth. But I think Leeds lack quality, just as much as we do.

I remember a few years back, before the euros in Ukraine, where they had TV shows (iirc, sol campbell was the presenter) trying to deter people from going and basically saying, if you’re black, you’re unsafe. From those that I know who went, said it was one of the best they’ve been to and saw little to no trouble at all, much like the recent Russian WC. Much like anything, if you go and act like a provocative bellend you’ll find trouble. Wether that’s being unable to keep your sexual feelings to yourself for a few hours or being a pissed / geared up twat walking along the streets. It’s not difficult.

Not really, it’s the truth. He’s been utterly crap this season. He’s also vastly, vastly overrated. One of our better players (not too difficult), but take away his free kicks and he’s extremely limited. Someone compared him to Harry winks, and they’re absolutely right. Lavia, at 18 or whatever he is, has come in and in a handful of games shown what a top class CM looks like. JWP isn’t one.

Maybe, maybe not. JWP has been absolutely shite though this season and shouldn’t be anywhere near the squad.

He’s opted for Madison. In reality, Maddison is more likely to play and have an impact than Toney. No point in having 3 strikers when no one other than Kane will play.

The Phillips hate continues, despite arguably being England’s best player at the euros. Im glad he’s in. Much better player and offers much more than JWP.
