Makes us tick. A world Beater in the making. No surprise we’ve improved upon his return to fitness.
-
That twat is so far up Ralph and Semmens arse, it’s absolutely pointless listening to him anymore. Such a one sided, biased opinion. He’s clearly not a fan of SR, because they’re pushing his mate Semmens out
-
Yep, something has gone on, but it has to be said, the squad do seem to genuinely be happy for him when we win. It doesn’t strike me as that he’s lost / never had the dressing room. Whatever happened, credit where it’s due, it’s a sign of a good manager to admit mistakes and be willing to learn / change. We’ll Likely go down under Jones, but if we play like tonight there’s potential there.
-
Not strange at all. He’s right.
-
Agreed. To be honest, I think the way our fan base has acted towards Jones is a disgrace. the football has been appalling, regardless of what he says, but it’s shameful the way he’s been boo’d, personally insulted and had songs sung about him. Fair play to him for getting a dig back tonight. I still think he’s out of his depth, but we’ve got him, so we need to back him (providing we continue to try and play as we did today).
-
Quick shout out to Diallo who I thought was also brilliant tonight.
-
Lyanco for me, but could have been any of the back 4 or midfield 3. Honourable shout out to AA and Djenepo who worked their socks off.
-
Great performance and one we’ve been crying out for. Credit to Jones (or whoever) has decided if you’re gonna go down, go down trying. We’ll lose many more games this season im Sure as we’re not very good, but if we play like that, you’ll have no complaints from me. Night and day from the forest game. Like a brand new side.
-
Fully expect us to lose this one still, but you won’t complain if we do. City are a team of super stars. great half from us, a different team to that we have seen under Jones previously. Long may it continue.
-
People won’t like this, but I’d take a swap deal with United including AWB
-
I like KWP, I personally think he’s one of our better players and one who is most ‘saleable’. I don’t particularly agree with his height being an issue, but it is important to remember that he was a winger converted to a full back, rather than being an out and out defender. If we’re going to persist with a shitty back 3/5, I’d rather we got a RB who can play RCB (Walker, as an example of someone like that, but obviously not a realistic signing). I think as a wing back, Tino would be better, however I’d rather us play an actual winger to give us more attacking presence. Rather a 343 than 523, if that makes sense. I think KWP would do very well in the United side and has been a good servant. Wouldn’t begrudge him a move.

Honestly speaking, I’d take that if offered now. Horrible feeling it could be a big one tonight.. if city want it to be, of course.
-
I hope he’s got a strong neck. He’s gonna need it watching the ball sail over him all game.
-
Fair enough, happy to hold my hands up and appologise. From where I was, it seemed like nothing, but sometimes they can be the worst. Let’s hope it’s not too serious
-
I can’t imagine that O’Neil has long left. Bournemouth look just as bad as us. Be interesting to see who goes first between him and Frank. Franks saving grace is that Everton don’t have a pot to piss in… might just save him.
-
I still can’t believe this happened. People give Jones stick for wanting the limelight, but fuck me ralph was as bad as anyone for that. Remember the stupid jazz hands to the fans on the rare occasion we won’t a game.
-
Hes correct in what he says, but I feel like he’s been watching a different side to everyone else. Long hopeful punts are shit. It was better today, but palace are a dreadful side at the minute and should have put us to bed in the first 30 minutes. Basically, as we were. Jones out.
-
I think you’re reading a little more into mentioning us in 3rd person than is intended and Tbh, Jones doesn’t strike me as the brightest bulb in the box. I feel sorry for him in the sense of this is a little more sensitive given family connections etc. It’s not his fault we appointed him all reports suggest that this is his style of which we simply don’t have the squad for. He’ll be recompensated very well, but that doesn’t excuse the personal insults towards a man who I’m sure is trying his best. He’ll bounce back I’m sure. Not at this level, likely the championship or L1, but he’ll manage again.
-
I don’t think he fancies it tbh. Always seems to be getting injured / going down. Looked like he couldn’t wait to come off, but hopefully I’m wrong on that account and that was just his playing style rather than attitude
-
The Eddie Howe stuff is 100% true. We had him all lined up, we pulled out last minute and stuck with Ralph. I think if I remember rightly we had a slight uplift in form. He then went to Newcastle and the rest is obviously history. To be honest, I’m still amazed it never happened, but things change quickly in football.
-
Correct. The players are a bunch of cowards and deserve relegation on their CV. However; in this case, they’re not to blame. Jones is so far out of his depth it’s untrue.
-
If this is true (it’s been pinched from twitter so a grain of salt), and we’re appointing managers based on this ridiculous logic, then I think I’d rather Le Tiss running the national vaccine roll out than have these 2 fucking morons running our club.
-
He’s on over a 100k a week. Even if the transfer fee is reduced, it’s not a cheap deal and his minimal output doesn’t warrant the outlay.
-
Possibly explains their desire to be a profitable club, rather than ambition to succeed..?
-
Where does he go? Other than maybe one of the promoted sides, I don’t see another team in which he starts in the PL. Very average player.
