He’s been shite for ages. To be Frank, he’s just as much a liability as Lyanco at times. -

Why does Salisu get such relief on here. He’s been terrible for fucking ages. -

I bet they’re shitting themselves that the infamously dangerous SFC will find their second gear. -

Agreed. it must be difficult to play next to Lyanco and Salisu, both are far too frequently all over the place. -

Bree looks better second half. Hasn’t had to dO much defensively, maybe that is why. -

It’s not at all surprising though. We’re a shitshow everytime we revert to a back 5. we all knew it was game over when we saw the line up. Why didn’t Jones? -

What we’re the coaching staff pissed off about by the way? Were fucking lucky they didn’t get a pen. They should worry about themselves rather than the ref. -

It’s a worrying thought really. We’re bad enough playing a back 3, but with those 3 idiots back there it boarders comical. -
This result is on Jones. No one else. Anyone who’s watched us knows we cannot play a back 3, yet he continues to persist with it. He seemingly refuses to play players in their best position because he’s desperate to shoehorn Lyanco into the squad, because he thinks he’s best at suiting his shite hoofball. Getting a win here was unlikely, but we didn’t even give ourselves a chance. As others have said, we’re wasting money with Jones still being the manager, utterly clueless.
-
Why NJ? “With all due respect” this has nothing to do with him. Until they’re holding a saints shirt I won’t get my hopes up (although looks promising) and Until I see them actually play, I won’t expect too much. Let’s wait and see is my view point.

Mara going the other way on loan? Wouldn’t be the worst deal for the player / us…?
-
We’re SR / Rasmus in charge of recruitment in the last window? I genuinely don’t know the answer but I’d guess that it was that little bald fella and Crooker. Not sure it’s fair to stick the blame on them for the last window if they were in charge of overseeing it.

Because an agents job is to look after the best interests of the player. Keeping a deal quiet for a team destine for relegation, to prevent potentially other interest from better clubs isn’t really doing that.. is it. It also doesn’t stop the selling club from leaking things to get a better price.
-
On it doesn’t. If we’ve agreed to pay the release clause in full, then we’re free to talk to the player. It seems in this case, the player just didn’t want to come here.
-
It’s exactly how it works. It’s more of a eBay ‘buy it now’ rather than Auction. If a release clause is set at X, if you offer X then the player is free to agree terms with you. Little the selling club can do. Id expect Marseille have offer 2m more but in instalments rather than a lump sum, which the release fee needs to be paid at.
-
The return is growing the club & keeping them a PL side. Under SR model, it’s essential, as the ‘main club’ were a top flight team. Every business / investment is a gamble.
-
You really don’t know how this works Ron, do you. After seasons of the same shit, I’d have thought all woulda clocked on by now. Seems most have.
-
They’re just as much a basket case as us. If they’re after someone, we should steer well clear. They’re only marginally more attractive than us atm because they have a manager capable of keeping them in the league.
-
It’s not if you’re willing to invest properly in your squad. Brighton being a prime example. Years of poor recruitment, penny pinching and underinvestment have left us with under qualified staff (on and off the pitch). we’re now seemingly willing to spend a bit of cash, but it’s too late. Destine for the drop there are 19 other PL clubs who are more attractive options than us.
-
That was my assumption that the deal would be exactly that. Effectively a 6 month loan for £3m or whatever the cost is. Logically thinking, assuming he would want to join, that makes sense. Even if we’re in for this Portuguese lad as well.
-
You like to think those running the club understand the rules around release clauses etc. however, it wouldn’t at all surprise me if these idiots running the club didn’t.
-
I mean what he is saying is right I guess, but he and his family really need to stay off social media / web forums. Their skin is clearly not thick enough for it. Although, I think at 1-0 down, we’re already out of the game. I can’t foresee Newcastle being as bad as they were Tuesday night.

We’ll done for being about 2 weeks late on that joke.

Next season is the campaign before a European championship. There is no way we keep anyone with any ambition in playing in that.. JWP, ABK, DCC, lavia etc.
