  1. Easy to say in hindsight. Replacing Jones with an experiment like Selles is much easier than replacing Ralph with him, when there’s half the season left. There would have been up roar had Selles replaced Ralph. The Jones appointment was beyond stupidity though.
  2. Fair point. Was a cracking game and great to see us play with confidence and on the front foot. 12 more performances like today and we will give ourselves a great chance of staying up.

Forest at home still haunts me. Probably the fixture which has relegated us, tbh.
  4. I don’t disagree with this btw. I think Wednesday decides how much of a good point it was. Feels like the game was there to be won for us today and a bit more composure and quality in the final 3rd we would have. Something that isn’t often said at OT.
  5. Those 10 games have fucked us, let’s make no mistake. Ralph’s start wasn’t great and he was justifiably sacked, but that run of 10 or so games, which had a number of ‘6 pointers’ have relegated us.
  6. Disagree. We played against 10 men for the majority of the game and missed some really, really big chances. For us to get anything at the big clubs we need, a bit of luck and them not to be at their best and for us to take our chances. We had the luck (10 men) and United weren’t great, but we didn’t do our bit. It was a very good performance, in front of goal, aside though. Fee like swapping out Adams and sulemena came too early, we were on top and id have liked to have seen another 10 mins of them.
  7. Kinda how I see it. Walking away, feels like 2 points dropped. Probably more because of other results than ours. We have a clear lack of quality and composure in the final 3rd and I think that’ll be our downfall. Don’t see to have enough to put teams away.
  8. Hello TWar
  9. Pathetic from him. Should know better.
  10. Nothing up top now. No pace, no runners in behind. Poor subs, very very poor.
  11. Armstrong, Mara, Theo The worst front 3 to play a PL game all season?
  12. Because we’re toothless in front of goal, as shown today at OT. So yes, this is why we’re bottom.
  13. Have to twist for me. United are there for the taking and The value of 3 points is far greater than 1. If we go down by a point, it won’t be because we didn’t cling on to a draw at OT.
  14. McCarthy KWP Bednerak/ABK Salisu Perraud Lavia JWP Theo Alcaraz* (S Armstrong) Sulemana Che *starts if not injured Nailed on that Elyounnosi will be in for Armstrong and Bazunu in for McCarthy 3-0 defeat
  15. Shut up you absolute moron.
  16. I thought this. Is it any wonder that we don’t seem to win at home? Our fan base is fucking toxic and an absolute disgrace. Genuinely, who sits there and thinks it’s a good idea to boo one of your own players, for coming on to the pitch. What positive outcome is that going to have? Much like booing at half time or shouting and groaning when a pass goes backwards. the job of the fans is to get behind the team, encourage them drive them forward. We don’t do that, we’re a hinderance and a disgrace to be brutally honest
  17. Everton win for me. I think Forest are more likely to go down than Everton, who I think will pick up points at the business end of the season.
  18. Hes awful. Needs dropping which has been obvious for months. Had we invested in a proper keeper, I think we’d be out the drop zone right now. Obviously we have other issues within the squad, but this clown is one of, if not, the biggest.
  19. No, he’s a terrible keeper because he doesn’t save any shots.
  20. This is the team that should have started (Tuesday) maybe the 2 new lads for Adams and Armstrong. Not tomorrow though, for me. The ypungesters anyway. The rest looks good
  21. Let’s be fair, if Jones had said this he’d have been crucified. Weird comment.
  22. Clearly absolutely nowhere near being our worst ever manager, but there is an interesting snippet on the most recent ‘undrthecosh’ podcast, with Danny Simpson from his time at Leicester with Puel. Pt2 From 57 minutes if anyone wanted a listen. Let’s just say, pretty critical and echo’s comments I’ve been told from saints players at the time.
  23. I gave him credit during the Gao years, I thought he spoke well and was doing a decent job with his hands tied. Probably the benefit of following that American fool. However as Time has gone on he’s proven to be an absolute fraud. Far too much respect given to Ralph and the SR appointment is solely on him. I for one can’t wait foR him to leave.
  24. Is this opinion or is there trouble in paradise already?

It’s impossible to say how quickly we’ll bounce back. Regardless of what happens, even if we somehow do the impossible and stay up, I suspect that there will be a bit of an overhaul in the summer. Usually, I’d encourage the board to be ruthless and say ‘you’re going nowhere, you got us into this mess, now you get us out’. However, the squad is so toxic full of mentally weak wasters, I hope we flog the lot. By all accounts, SR will continue to fund the project even in the event of relegation. It’ll come down to who we sign. I’d like to hope that SR have learned their lesson RE taking risks on 18 year olds. Whilst being out of their depth in the PL, we do have some players with proven experience at that level, who’ll be one of ‘the better ones’ in the championship, AA, Che being examples. From a pure footballing perspective, relegation might be a blessing and would probably suit our model better than the PL.
