  1. I don’t know how many times it needs to be said, rassmus js effectively SR, he’s going absolutely nowhere. The best we can hope for is the purchase of another club to keep him away from us day to day.

With all due respect to them, we’re talking about fucking Burnley here. Hardly a career defining move for him. I genuinely cannot see a situation where a player would down tool to force a move to Burnley.

My point being, so what if it doesn’t. His salary will be (relatively speaking) on the lower end & he didn’t cost us anything to buy if ROI is 0, we haven’t lost very much. Given his length of contract, he has little choice but for it to end well or he could waste 3-4 years of his prime. Very different to one who has a year or 2 left and can walk for nothing the next summer. Fwiw, I’m not saying we shouldn’t sell, just that we shouldn’t have put pants pulled down and accept anything, because the player wants to go.
  4. Ignoring the semi final Ralph got us to (losing to the eventual winners in Leicester) throwing an awful display…?
  5. It’s just struck me, if we can pull our finger out of our arse, Liverpool could contribute to relegation of Everton on the last game of the season….
  6. No, he’s on loan.

Sorry Egg mate, but completely disagree. What Tella or Burnley want is completely irrelevant. He’s our player, he’s recently signed a contract with us, so we hold all the cards here. It’s board weakness and giving into player power that has got us into this mess in the first place. If he doesn’t want to be here and downs tools (doesn’t strike me as that kinda guy tbh), then more fool him, it’s his career that’s at risk. I’d imagine keeping him around would cost us next to fuck all, even if he’s sulking and not playing. FWIw, I think he’s a decent championship player but not good enough for the prem. we’ve more than enough of them in the squad. £20-£25m would be fantastic business

No. Only certain windows throughout the season which a player can be registered in the squad.
  9. None of these are coming to manage us in the championship.
  10. There’s probably 6 - 10 team globally which would interest Poch. Those jobs come up far less frequent than the level in which Hassemhuttl would be looking at. Villa, wolves, Leeds, Palace, Leicester, Everton have all changed managers in recent months, in the PL alone. Ralph hasn’t been in with a sniff of any of them. so no, nothing like Poch.
  11. McCarthy has always been a very average keeper and should never have been considered long term no1. Giving him a contract of that size is/was ludicrous and the fact we’re now cutting off our nose to spite our face, which is actively making us weaker (and arguably why we’re going down), just highlights the mismanagement of the club for years.
  12. Anyone with half a brain cell can see that’s the case.
  13. Must be why after 6 months of being unemployed, with multiple job opportunities, he still finds himself without a job.
  14. Highly rated at younger levels, but then looking at the size of him I expect he was 2 foot wider than anyone else. Always helps.
  15. Who’s your money on? Semmens at the end of the season imo.
  16. Didn’t wise old Rasmus effectively close down the Brentford Academy..?
  17. McCarthy KWP Bednerak ABK Perrud JWP Lavia Theo Alcaraz Sulemena Che 0-2
  18. Pulling off Alcaraz instead of Moi was fucking criminal.
  19. You can have it both ways, after 85 minutes with a 2 goal lead, hou expect to have it both ways. Let’s be really blunt. We’re lucky to walk away with a point there at the end.
  20. As soon as we come under a bit of pressure we crumble, like we do every single fucking week.

Without being pedantic, Arsenal gifted us the first and arguably 3rd goal, not his tactics.
  22. I don’t think he was massively to blame this evening, but he’s a very very poor keeper and should not be in the side for the last 6 games. Too inexperienced, too prone to errors. Everything you don’t need in a relegation scrap.
  23. He didn’t. Taking Lavia off cost us that game. Pure and simple .
  24. Neville said before the game (was in reference to Arsenal not holding onto leads in recent weeks), when you’re up against it, you need someone to hold the ball or you end up dropping deeper and deeper. Taking Lavia off removed our ability to hold on to the ball, have them space and is what lead to the 2 goals.
  25. Sorry Duck, but it sums us up and where we are. despite the manager doing his best to fuck us up, we battled well and generally defended really well. Once the second went in, it was obvious we’d concede another, you see the life get sucked out of us. A team full of fucking bottlers
