There's certainly question marks over the validity of that report, but its completely possible that he's simply fed up of waiting. We've been fanning around in no mans land because we don't know what will happen with Che and they have put the money down and made it work.
-
Have we not already softened our resolve for Adams though? If reports are to believe, which I do, we accepted £15m for him. The only reason he's not an Everton player now is because they have no actual cash to pay us.

Welcome back Always @tdmickey3

He might be the same as AA in terms of style, but he has a physical presence that AA doesn't have. He's proven to score goals in Martins system as a lone striker, AA isn't. We tried AA through the middle all pre-season and looked toothless. We tired him in 2 of our 3 opening games and looked toothless. Agree with the rest of the statement though - I don't really rate Manning, but so, so. Lets hope we have someone decent lined up to replace Adams - I wont hold my breath though.
-
Maybe - I can guarantee you that I'm not wrong about Micky boy being the same person as Always_sfc and Chapel_end though

I think anyone with a degree of sensibility knew we'd shift a load of players. If anything, we've not shifted enough. For me, the biggest issue is we're a week away from the end of the window, transfer targets are moving on and we're very likley to lose 2 probably 3 or 4 of our best players with little to no time to replace. Selling isn't the problem, the fact is we've given ourselves little to no time to replace them. As I said earlier, had Piroe came in last night, the noise around Adams wouldn't be half as bad.
-
MArtin summed it up in his press conference. He's aggressive and has a disire to win. We need some of that in the squad, Martin said that himself. I'm convinced he'll prove loads wrong.
-
Exactly how I see it. HAs we signed Piroe this week, then there wouldn't have been so much noise and concern around Adams.
-
Ridiculous strong midfield. Wouldn't be upset with that in the division above, to be honest.
-
a bit of advice - stop banging on about it and it'll go away. Almost like magic!
-
This is a fair point - Clearly something is working for Che under Martin, he's scored 3 in 3. If true that we've offered him vice captaincy, he's not getting that amount of support anywhere else. Red and white glasses on, I think Che could be wise to stick around, even if its just for the season and re-assess. He'd only be moving to a club which is no a great deal different to us anyway.

Wally's like you that keep biting on it, is the fact the whole "CoT' thing is funny. If only you were savvy enough to realise 🤦♂️
-
Agree - We looked really strong in the 3 CM positions. We lack a little depth at CB, but looks like we're sorting that. Really, really concerned about up top however. Its got big money panic buy flop written all over it.
-
CoT here to prove the doubter wrong.
-
Exactly what the last account said aswell
-
Would you not agree that evidence suggests that they will all become true? We went into last season needing a striker. Failed to improve. We've come into this season needing a striker, we're selling one who looks fairly competent at this level, and based on links, will fail to improve.
-
Welcome back, Always. What's this, your 3rd account now? Remember the last time you were whinging about mistaken identity 😂
-
Bookmarked for a weeks time 👍
-
No - we've just taken all of the guaranteed goals out of the side and wont win enough games.
-
We fucked up messing around with trying to haggle and Leeds put the money down and got him. Che isn't staying, we haven't got someone better lined up. We'll replace Che with some no mark for more than what Piroe would have cost us.
-
I was on about Piroe. The most obvious L4l replacement of Che we could have asked for.
-
Maybe, but he's so slow that the ball would be out for a throw in by the time he gets there.
-
We've just let our replacement walk to Leeds. That's the issue.
-
So it turns out Wilcox isn't the Messiah he's been made out to be?
-
It always has been. That was always where he was ending up.
