Dont talk shit - its that helmets fault. Midfield, once again, is a shambles. No movement, no solidity, just 3 aboslutely nothing players in there.

KWP is such a good attacking full back, he carries the ball so well. Absolutely wasted with him fucking about wherever he fancies across the pitch.

Not sure were watching the same game. We're a lot more concertaive and balanced, but our midfield is getting bypassed like a hot knife through butter still. Its only a matter of time before they get through

Imo we should just count ourselves to lucky to be in Englands 2nd division!!

Which is why he's not the right long term manager for us - We'd face 'decent opponents' every week should we somehow go up. I genuinely fear if we go up, we might see scorelines more than the 2 9's ralph delivered.

Charles is that man - We've been a touch unlucky with injuries to Bednerak and Stephens along with Holgate having an absolute stinker, meaning we've had to put Charles at CB. In hindsight, we shoulda persisted with Holgate, but I think Martin was damned if he did, damned if he didn't there tbf. With Charles and Downes, thats a fairly solid pairing with a more attacking option infront of them. I don't think we need another, unless Downes injury is a really bad one. Again, in hindsight, we really should have taken £10m for Smallbone when we had the chance.

Not sure what else we can do in midfield.. Downes will be out, smallbone is an attacking player, just not a very good one. If Downes is fit - he replaces S.Armstrong, for me.

Aye? The reason we're making the mistakes is because we're making 5 yard passes on the edge of our box into midfield / no mans land. That is literally the tactics asked by the manager. That's not withstanding fundamental flaws in defensive set up (with and without the ball)

Something has to change. We're ay too exposed and need to steady the ship and become more solid defensively. Full back is a big issue, so it needs to be a priority to look at (along with CM). I'm sooooooo glad we didn't sign Piroe. Far to similar to our outstanding captain Adam Armstrong. Only 1 glaring difference - Piroe scores goals.

I'd suggest its defo tactical. His tactics are far to high risk, little reward to be successful. It happened a few times in the first half, but we are too dense to spot the risk and change. PArt of me wonders why a senior player doesn't think, this is fucking stupid - Lets drop another man back. It borders on arrogance to be honest - "we've got the best players, we can do what we want and take the piss" mentality.

ALong with his comments in the press conference, all doesn't seem well. I'd like to think that we're asking some tough questions of him - Was Martin a Wilcox man? That'll tell how soon he's sacked. Really frustrating as Enzo was our first choice and the difference is night and day between the 2 of them.

It was the system in which we applied. I've said it a few times, its the first time i've watched (sober) and with a differnet lens trying to see where we're going wrong. We marked man to man, they (leicester) pulled wide and left a huge gap in the middle of the park allowing a through ball direct to VArdy who was droppig in and pulling Charles (not his fault) out, leaving room to run inbehind. Our pressing is absolutely fucking shambolic - often its just 1 forward pressing allowing a easy pass inside and turning back to front. I can't really see what we're trying to achieve by playing it out from the back - far too often we play loose passes across / into the middle of the park Teams don't have to work hard to force a mistake, no to play through us. Its really, really piss poor. I'd go as far as saying worse than Selles and Jones.

His time was up, I wanted him gone, but I'd geninely have the bloke back I think. For all his flaws, at least we looked like a competantly coached side.

Downes is a good player. I watched with a keen eye tonight, we marked Man for Man and it left a huge hole in the midfild (obviously leciester were smart enough to pull wide) allowing an easy pass into Vardy, dragging Charles out and then players running into that space. Really simple basic stuff we should be able to defend against / counter, yet we played right into their hands. This result is on the manager and noone else. imo.

The game was over when they scored their 3rd before half time. We were on top because they took their foot off the gas.

Can we please stop blaming the CB's FFS. There's little they can do when they're being exposed time and time again. The problem is with the tactics leaving the midfield non-exisitant and full backs pushing up too high. We need to fuck off this 'inverted full back' bollox - he only does it because pep does - it's leaving us way too exposed and results are showing that.

Sat in the middle of the park, kept the ball moving (forwards), broke down anything we tried to play through the middle. Significantly better than Downes (and I'm a Downes fan). I don't think the tactics helped us today though.

He's been brilliant all season.

He's had what, 3 / 4 months now? We look like a bunch of players thrown together last night. The pressing is appaling, so so easy to play through. Noone seems to know where there team mate is and we have no real clue of how to break anyone down on the ball either. Seems like the tactics are "throw as many men forward, that's bound to get a goal". I watched Leicester today and could tell their plan - I've watched us all season and have no idea of how we aim to break sides down or score goals.
