  1. Hopefully it’ll all be done by the time we go to Elland Road
  2. There’s clearly never a bad time to score, but I think today we got the first 2 goals just at the right time, which changed the game. Whilst dominating the first half, up until the goal, it was pretty slow and flat on and off the pitch. It had a feel of “it’s gonna be one of those days”. I actually thought Wednesday came out of the blocks pretty well second half and were playing and pressing really high. The second killed the game nd took all momentum they had out of them. I have to say, our composure on the ball was brilliant, especially for the second goal. And for once, we looked clinical on the counter. No one had a bad game, but I thought Fraser was my MOTM. Continually causing them problems down the left, made so many runs we just didn’t find him. It’s been said a few times, but what a partnership TBH and Bednerak are. Our best / most solid pairing since Fonte / VvD or Toby?
  3. I think its time the admins run a poll - Who is on their knee's the most to join the CoT.. Old Nick or always/chapel/tdmicky (whatever account he is using that day).
  4. Great research Gio!
  5. Another couple of great scoups from the CoT 👏 Based on the group chat, its going to be a very exciting finish to january indeed. That's all I can say for now im afraid.
  6. This man should have been captain this season, imo.
  7. I'll die on the hill that had we had to rely on Holgate all this season, he'd have been absolutely fine for us. A bit like Stephens, hes a touch unlucky to be behind, imo the 2 best CB's in this leauge.

    David Brooks

I prefer David Brooks to the tune of Baby Shark. Angus Gunn mk2. Sure to get the infamous chapel kop going.
  9. Clarke is exactly the type of player we should be signing. The best players from clubs in the same leauge, good enough to take the step up (imo). However, its quite clearly not going to happen.
  10. yep, agreed. I think he'd be a perfect fit for us. Trying to be as well balanced as possible, I'd like to think we have a pretty good chance of landing him, if its down to the player. Wouldn't need to move, you'd imagine Fraser could / would put in a good word (assuming they have a decent relationship), very good chance of playing on a weekly basis, coached by Wilcox previously, clearly in with a chance of going up and fits the sort of player we'd sign if we went up. Martin seems to have decent 'people management'. I could only see it being down to money and us not offering as much as Leeds might (contribution of Bmouth). Guessing he'll know Stephens from last season as well...?

    Ryan Fraser

Sorry to go all MLG on you, but its quite obvious that the club will be talking to Fraser and his represenatives and he's not getting his information from the press. You're right about the FFP thing though - Same old saints - Always have an excuse to not put their hands in their pockets.
  12. The CoT exclusively revealed that Ings does not want to return. Plenty of activity in the WhatsApp group at the minute. Very exciting. All I can say for now.
  13. What differnce does that make? If anything, surely it would be better for them if we weren't in the same leauge (championship) next season. If us & leeds go up, its a significantly weaker leauge for them next season.

    Ryan Fraser

Seems a no brainer to sign Fraser permantley, surely? Seems to be a great character, settled in really well and we both seem a great fit.
  15. I really like the look of the David Brooks links. I think he'd be very similar to Fraser for us. 7 or 8 out of 10 every week
  16. I'm not 100% sure he's what we need - seems to generally play off the left or more centrally. Unless someone like Alcaraz is off, both are positions we're pretty well stocked in. Fair play to Hull however. Building a really good squad for the back end of the season.
  17. Yeah that's how i'm feeling. They've looked a completely differnt side (results wise) since Rohl has come in - If they play in the fashion of Ralph in his early days, Quick high counter press, then I think we will struggle. We seem to struggle a bit when teams go 2 up top and full press (usually late on in the game). Much like you, 1-2 - a mistake at the back for at least one
  18. Just bumped into my club contact in Costa (Southampton airport). Very interesting. All I can say at the minute I’m afraid.
  19. Hahaha wait until they actually have to cough up some dosh and pay his wages. Let’s see how well he thinks of them when they loose a game and he doesn’t see a pay packet for 2 months. Ropey a you like those Turkish clubs.
  20. ATTENTION SEEKER!!!!!
  21. I just had a look back at the side we put out against Gillingham and had a chuckle. Its incredible how far we've come since then.. McCarthy in Goal, Perruad and Lyanco at CB, Djenepo on the wing - Big Paul off the bench. I wonder how we'd have faired this season if they'd stuck around. An arguement could be made for Perruad over Manning, but I wouldn't touch the others with a barge pole.. Safe to say the side we put out saturday will be nothing like that one!
  22. £5m is a relative steal if he can get 6-10 goals in the second half of this season.
  23. He's defo not coming here. If there is 1 position we do not need, its more central midfielders
  24. believe what you want to believe, Always. Just try to not let your jelousy and bitterness ruin it for others 👍
  25. Plently of activity in the CoT group chat. The club are working hard and Mowbray is clocking up the airmiles. All that can be revealed in the public domain for now.
