Surely that was a load of bollox. Looked about as fake as you get. No way is a PL player messaging random people on SnapChat saying things like that.

If avalible, i'd still much rather Diallo or Brooks over Benson.

Yep agreed. My 2 pence, for what its worth; If we get a bid for him anywhere near the region of £30m, he'll be off and rightly so. It'd help us no end finacially and would open the possiblity to sign a player or 2 at the buisness end of the pitch - especially if Che is off as well. KWP is clearly way too good for the level we're currently at. He's too good for us if we go up. IMO, he's a top 6 RB. Bree has been solid this season and is experienced at this level. Worse case, I'd have no problem with him slotting in. We'd need to change the way we play slightly, but I could see a world where we basically swap Bree to be a more 'defensive' / 'Narrow' full back, with Manning being the more agressive full back offering us widith. Which would actually probably suit Manning. As good as KWP has been and he has been brilliant, I'd be more concerned if we lost Downes. FWIW - I think he'll go in the summer, rather than now. Chelsea are a basket case of a club though. Why on earth did they let Tino leave and then why on earth did they not re-sign him in the summer...

Jheeze; the death of County Cricket as we know it. I can’t see any overseas investor sticking around for long when they realise there is absolutely no money in county cricket. Can only assume any potential investor is pinning hopes on the hundred…

Careful, you’ll have him making a thread claiming mistaken identity. I actually feel a bit sorry for the bloke, he’s clearly a bit unwell - he could do with a bit of time off the internet and enjoying the fresh air. A shame a ban on the previous 2 accounts didn’t make him stop and think.

With all due respect, isn’t attacking unarmed civilians exactly what Hamas (Palestine) done on October 7th? Also, who cares if Arab nations boycott sporting events, they’re only there to make the number up anyway.
-
Unless those stats are from the ridiculously small sample size of 2 games, there absolutely irrelevant given they have a new manager.
-
Seems risky to me. Che has proven, when he can be arsed, can score plenty at this level. Anyone we bring in would be a gamble. Fully aware that contradicts what I said about ins vs outs at the start of the thread.. my opinion on che changes weekly Upon reflection, i think I’m settled on - whilst risky, a direct L4L replacement of Che and that lad form Aberdeen is probably the right thing to do..

Great point CC. We, the trust, regularly have a collective laugh at the fact those whom are the most vocal in their anger in this thread, are the same ones who are on their knees in private DM’s asking for more information.

I can’t help but feel that he’s more valuable to us than £6m. Especially in his current form.

Just because your IQ level isn’t high enough to identify the (pretty obvious) clues, doesn’t warrant abuse.
-
Yep - that's how I see it.

The CoT strike again!

Do you attend games? With all due respect, unless you are a regualr atendee at SMS, its pointless you chipping in with your opinon. Not a dig btw.. a general observation.

Very witty! Great work as usual, always!

How about "typical us to lose our unbeaten run, at our managers old club, to our managers old assistant"... Feels like a full house.. 2-1 swans.
-
Thanks for the private message, Turks…. Very interesting indeed! One I hope doesn’t come true. Let’s hope those behind the scenes are trying to convince! Great shout last week on the lad from Bournemouth by the way. Early snippets like that is why I value my CoT membership.

Good player and experienced at this level. A position I’m not sure we need, but if a quality player becomes available then you’d be stupid to not take it up. All in a good signing for me.

I had the debate with myself earlier, as I thought the same thing. But for every game we’ve conceded late, there are others where we’ve nicked it at the end. So on balance I think we’re probably about par away from home. That being said, the difference between us and Leicester is that they’re more clinical than we are. I think if we remain unbeaten (winning most) at home and continue to be “on par” away from home, we’ll be in the top 2 come May. Unfortunately we’ve still got some really tough away fixtures still to come.
-
Harsh imo. Any other season we’d be flying ahead at the top and the odd draw away with our home form would be more than enough. the standard set form 4 teams this year is an absolute joke.

Looked lively - can see a touch of Lallana in there, to be fair.

Hopefully it’ll all be done by the time we go to Elland Road

There’s clearly never a bad time to score, but I think today we got the first 2 goals just at the right time, which changed the game. Whilst dominating the first half, up until the goal, it was pretty slow and flat on and off the pitch. It had a feel of “it’s gonna be one of those days”. I actually thought Wednesday came out of the blocks pretty well second half and were playing and pressing really high. The second killed the game nd took all momentum they had out of them. I have to say, our composure on the ball was brilliant, especially for the second goal. And for once, we looked clinical on the counter. No one had a bad game, but I thought Fraser was my MOTM. Continually causing them problems down the left, made so many runs we just didn’t find him. It’s been said a few times, but what a partnership TBH and Bednerak are. Our best / most solid pairing since Fonte / VvD or Toby?

I think its time the admins run a poll - Who is on their knee's the most to join the CoT.. Old Nick or always/chapel/tdmicky (whatever account he is using that day).
