  1. If he comes back, forwhich I dont think he will, I want him to play in the flase 9 and nowhere else. That's where he's best, either there or the 10, but he doesn't suit the midfield 3 in our system. Personally, if we go up, I think he'll stay at Juve and well swap him for that winger at Juve (Sule?). If we don't go up, he'll go elsewhere in europe way below the 40m quoted.
  2. In fairness, Itchen North isn't a great deal better these days. Block 1 / 2, when it re-opened upon promotion to the PL, used to be pretty moody. It was full of actual lads who moved away from the northam because they didn't want to be around the usual saints shirter clowns (as per your point). Over time, it became influtrated with younger 'want to film and put everything on social media' types and is now no better than the northam for absolute clowns. Itchen North has followed the same painful death of the Aquascutum Scarf, Stone Island and CP Company for 'Noddy Appeal'.
  3. If we fail to go up (which I think will happen) I want to see a load more from these 2 next season. The fear is, we go up and neither will get a look in.
  4. Let me just get this right... You're suggesting we should/could/might play a 17 year old (attacking being biggest strength) LB at CB and a 17 year old attacker at Wing back... LOL
  5. You're really not very good at this nick, are you. Eagles = Palace. Palace were interested in Brooks https://onefootball.com/en/news/bournemouth-reject-crystal-palaces-approach-for-three-goal-winger-33575062 Holy land = Isreal, who was a king of Isreal.. David. Welcomes a man of the left. Who's left footed that's just arrived at St Marys... You guessed it, Brooksy boy. Try as you might to undermine our ITK authority. You'll find no holes in the CoT my friend.
  6. despite the 100% ITK record, I think the biggest achievement has been getting right under the skin and raising the blood pressure of always/mickey's to almost catastophic levels. He can't help himself but continue to stalk with the passive agressive laughing recations.
  7. That's an easy thing to claim, but proof is in the pudding. Nicks ITK status currently lies at 0%, CoT 100%. From what I can see, you'll be brining nothing to the table. Given how keen you are for us to give names and as much information as possible in a public forum, I fear you may have #LooseLips.
  8. Hamstring... pretty sure that was confirmed?
  9. If they knew what we knew, they'd have thought the same. Sometimes the dominoes just don't fall.
  10. Unfortunately, they have. Wouldn't have minded Moore down here had Che left. Still - very happy and comfortable with the buisness we've done. Can't wait to see Brooks.

The fact that after us, he can only get a job at a bottom half L1 side kind of goes to show how bad of an appointment it was. I can kind of understand and see the logic of why we appointed him, but it was destined to fail from the very start. That being said, Selles was significantly worse. Out of the 3 managers we had last season, 1 is currently unemployed (in fairness, he'll pick up another decent enough job - Palace would be a good fit for him) the other 2 are in the bottom 7 clubs in L1 🤦‍♂️
  12. Charles could easily cover both at CB and CM. We'd have to be very unfortunate to lose Downes, Smallbone and 2 CB's at the same time, leaving us short in both positions.. No conern needed.
  13. Loose lips sink ships. If you can't see past what's in front of you and want to be spoon fed info, that's up to you. As trusted ITK's, we don't opperate like that. 100% strike record talks for itself.
  14. He's just not very good...
  15. Exactly - he's not going to be in the matchday squad, hence Turks comment.
  16. It was clearly insinuated here @OldNick. You need to do better at looking deeper.
  17. would genuinely be no better than Holgate - imo worse and would need ot learn the system etc. with no gametime. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
  18. One for the summer.. keep your eyes on a player(s) worth similar value currently at the old lady...

the "its better to play them than anyone else. We've only lost twice in the last 6" completely ignoring the fact they've only won 2 as well and have beaten us something like 3 or 4 times in the past 13 games 😂
  20. Great update in the COT group chat this morning. Very interesting. Lets hope the others are still here!
  21. Not sure - best part of 18 months out (potentially) stepping up to a level he's never played at. A real shame, if he'd stayed fit, I really reckon he'd have been siging of the season and we'd be in the top 2 right now. But he's not.
  22. Yep - I really see this as a sensible bit of buisness by the club. Not suited to the way in which we play. Hardly playing and when he has he's been dissapointing. Recouping c. half of what we paid for him in the loan fee alone with a significant option to buy. Ready made replacement in Rothwell, who's experienced at this level. All likeilhood he'll be back in the summer. There is no doubt in my mind that Charley is way more talented than anyone we currently have in midfield arguably the whole squad. He's brilliant, but its pointless keeping him around to sit on the bench frustrated. Really like the look of our squad at the minute. Mara out and a new striker in would seal the deal.

Despite a really promising pre-season and start, SAA hasn't been getting a game whilst we've had no RW at the club, so this isn't blocking his pathway at all.
  24. Exactly - Juve aren't spending 40m on him. He'll be back here next season.
  25. From what i've seen, Aribo has been playing and is seen more in the 'deeper' role - competing with Smallbone. We're left with; 6: Downes, Charles 8: Smallbone, Aribo 10: Stu, rothwell. That's absolutely ridiculous strength in depth for this level.
