  1. How many goals do you think you'd see us score under Martin if we go up? I would guess it wouldn't be many more than 19. Might be 51 against us though.
  2. was at 8:30 this morning
  3. Get back to bed micky, you're making a fool of yourself.
  4. That just brought a shudder down my spin - Perhaps, given their injuries, they'll line up with a side as ridiculous as we did that day. I reckon a back 4 of Bree Lyanco Perraud Meghoma would struggle in a Sunday leauge side 😂
  5. Back to marker pens and bedsheet's it is
  6. Everyone posts on a #keyboard, you thick fucker.
  7. It'll be a tough one for him to come back from, in my opinon. Hopefully, by the time hes back, we'd have found a replacement who's consistently performing. Horrible injury for him personally but if it forces our hand to replace him, it could be a blessing for us.
  8. Why do they all support Rangers as well?
  9. We're better than all but 4 teams in the leauge - there's absolutely no evidence that we wouldn't have scored more if we played a direct ball into che and had runners off him. Ipswich, as an example, have scored more (all be it only 1 more and have played a game less) and have a pretty direct style.
  10. that's a good point - I'm not convinced the idea of 'drowing out' the away fans will work It'd have been better if they'd moved the away fans to Kingsland North Corner.
  11. Why is that a bad thing? He (lumley) will know the score. He's been brought in to be backup / cover, because he's not good enough to be first choice for a championship side. That hasn't changed.
  12. I wonder if there is a clause of some kind in McCarthy's contract where if he plays x or on the bench of y he gets a balloon payment? I'd say its almost certain that he'll get paid a fee to be on the bench (much like they do an appearance fee) and that fee is likley significantly more than it would be for Lumley. Basically, commericially, its not worth putting him on the bench which has a cost ramification, when its very, very unlikley he'll play
  13. Has to be the same team. Win the game early then rest our important players, much like last night.
  14. Let’s set up a minutes applause on the minute mark against Stoke, to show solidity for Bazunu missing 4 games this season
  15. He usually lets most shots go straight past him. If he finally finds himself in the way of one, guilty probably not. Shocked he’s got his body in the way, absolutely.
  16. So what you’re saying is that by Bazunu not being in goal, we were a better team? The same Bazunu who was in the side until he got an injury… therefore, it’s a good thing for us.. no?
  17. Who’s said that? 2 + 2 = 5. just long enough to stop him from being in contention for another game this season will do 👍
  18. It’s a month mate.. he’s hardly wishing him dead.
  19. It’s pretty obvious why he said it, not because he wishes ill on the lad, but him being out for the remaining 4 games is a benefit to us. Had he been fit, he’s first name on the team sheet, despite being one of, if not the worst, keepers in the league who shoulda been dropped months ago. FWIW McCarthy is also crap and will no doubt cause a goal by trying to play out. But net result of the injury, imo, makes us stronger.
  20. Even if it’s the only way to stop the manager from picking, the pretty obvious, weak link? Short term pain for long term gain.
  21. You’re right, but I trust McCarthy in 4 games a load more than I do Bazunu. Let’s face it, we’ve 3 shite keepers.
  22. That usually means 2 goals against with quaver wrists in the sticks.
  23. He’s shite. Costs us more than he earns us, which for a keeper is a big, big problem. Should have been dropped weeks ago.
  24. Not anywhere near as horrible as watching absolutely everything going past him. Playing McCarthy will (hopefully) make us a little more direct.
  25. The night gets better - Bazunu out for the rest of the season. Fantastic stuff
