It looks like we still are.
-
What about the first time they gave us a pasting and we had Baz in goal…? And the Sunderland game…
-
If he can’t take this squad up, we’ve got absolutely no chance next year.
-
Yeah I can’t believe there is a serious soul who thinks we should sack him now.. however, I’d pull the trigger a minute after the playoffs regardless of what happens.
-
Another poor appointment by SR however you wanna dress it up. Much like Jones, it was obvious at the time he wasn’t the man to take us up.
-
I’ve been saying this. It’s why Martin has to go at the end of the season regardless. he’s either failed to take us up or we go up and it’s embarrassing of incredible levels.
-
Have we really had 3 shots..? I can’t remember 1
-
The sad thing is, Leicester really aren’t even that good. Clinical when presented gifts by our pathetic set up… in both games.
-
It’s irrelevant, we won’t win the play offs anyway. We crumble under any pressure, can’t defend and blow hot and cold in front of goal. We’ll get knocked out over 2 legs to all 3 of the potential sides we will play.
-
Assume you’ve only switched on for the second half? We’ve been fucking terrible all night.
-
are you still rabbiting on, Always? Careful - fairly certain that's how your previous accounts got a ban. Wouldn't want @Lighthousecoming down with an iron fist on the 8th account now, would we.
-
He was being played out of position and in a system that doesn't suit him. He's not going to keep the ball for 90 minutes like smallbone, but he will get you up the pitch, score you goals and create chances. You have to accept that defensivley he'll switch off because of what he gives you at the business end of the pitch. He's have been brilliant in the current Leeds or Ipswich side where they play a genuine number 10 (i.e second striker) and attack with pace and purpose. In sides gone by, he'd have been brilliant in Poch or Koeman side.
-
We should have built a side around him. Terrible management by him and the club. Unfortunatley, somoene like Alcaraz will never suit a structued, in flexible side like Martins.
-
Yeah, I've no doubt hes a good coach and looks a good manager. I'd have taken him here and still would (although I think something may have gone on behind the scenes which would prevent that - @Turkish might know more...). But Yes, its a myth we went on a instant downward spiral after he left.
-
Surely not this myth again.

sounds like an addiction mate. When the fun stops, stop.
-
its go nothing to do with the rail seating. Its because they wanted to improve atmosphere in the ground by having a single end. Will it work? Probably not, but that's their logic.
-
Blackburn (h) aside, all of the other games you've listed have been 'exciting' due to imcompentance. The sign of a good manager / team is winning those games comfortably - not 3-2 / 4-3 etc. relying on a last minute winner.
-
you can bet your lifes savings that WBA wont be so wasteful that day.
-
How different this place could, probably should have been this morning. If both WBA and us could stuck just 1 of our chances away, it'd have been in our hands. Bottle jobs.
-
How on earth have you come to the conclusion that we would be favoritues against a side which have; 1. beaten us twice 2. finished above us comfortably.
-
Great news for him - I really hope the club give him the send off he deserves on Saturday. Solid player for us and a top bloke. He was outstanding for a year or 2 under Ralph.
-
We want Leeds and Leciester out of this division next season, so by that very basis (unless Leeds lose tonight), I wouldn't be massively upset with a defeat.. which we will, because we have no bottle. FWIW - Really not impressed with Leciester, they look a pretty average side. What they do have is match winners and fight, as shown Saturday. 2-1 foxes.
-
I think on balance, Brooks was a decent punt. He's a decent player, I just dont think he's fit enough to come in and make the impact we were expecting him to make. Rothwell, I was expecting him to be a decent, solid addition and in some ways he has been with his goals. However, what fucking idiot signed off sending Charley out on loan (to a clib who is never going to cough up to buy him) and replace him with Rothwell.

For the U18's.... He's talented, one for next year.. not this.
