  1. This is a really fair argument. I do get the point that we’d rather have the ‘ups’ we get under Ralph even if we have to suffer some ‘downs’ along the way. However, for me, I think I’d rather a degree if consistency. That way, I’d have faith we can actually improve.
  2. Ings, much like Broja, scored most of his goals in a run if form. He also dropped off the back end of last season, in a strikingly similar way that Broja’s has this season. to be honest, I don’t even care anymore. I can’t believe you’re still going on. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone so rattled by a player. Absolute heads gone.
  3. It’s pretty obvious that he’d likely score more or have more chances to score playing for Chelsea than he would us.
  4. You slag him off in every thread you fool 😂😂😂
  5. Agreed, linked with him towards the back end of last year weren’t we? would know Crocker from time at the FA as well. An ugly bastard though, so won’t go down well with the hipsters
  6. not even me this time, I was fairly neutral until he said Borja is our biggest issue. Twar would argue with a brick wall if he could though.
  7. You have a clear agenda. It’s boring. Focus your energy on the fact Armstrong isn’t good enough to dislodge him. no single player is our biggest issue, collectively we’ve not been good enough for a number of reasons.

    Nathan Redmond

I really don’t think he’s the answer. Our trouble is we have no directness in the middle of the park, the last thing we need is redmond cutting back in side and slowing it all down. Again. Tella should get a game IMO.
  9. This is a fair debate and to be honest, I don’t disagree. The rest of the hateful shite you’re spouting is laughable though. I can only assume you’re trolling at this point.
  10. I mean we just conceded 6, which should have been more, in a game where he didn’t even make the squad. As I said, if we don’t have any better then what choice do we have than to start him? Not having any better isn’t his fault, so I’d say off the bat a bigger issue is the fact A Armstrong is fucking rubbish. I don’t believe for a second, at the start of the season the club or Ralph thought Borja would be his first choice ST. Armstrong, being shite, is a far bigger issue. Our biggest issue is we cannot defend and move the ball too slowly. Ralph is our biggest issue atm IMO.
  11. Has it not crossed your mind that we don’t actually have any and Ralph, like most on here, think that He and Adams are our best options?
  12. Yep, you’re right. Took the words out of my mouth.
  13. Agreed.
  14. Agreed, imo we need in the below order: Keep one, replace one - GK Striker CB & a creative winger / 10 tbh, give our situation I’d happily extend FF for another year to allow us to shop elsewhere to improve the squad. Striker, ideally keep Broja, that seems unlikely, so I’d say a new striker is essential. CB, I’d try and ship Bednerak off. Doesn’t need to be someone expensive. I’d rather an older experienced head, if I’m honest. We could do with a back up to Romeu. I’d be looking to shift, McCarthy, Bednerak, Redmond, Djenepo, Theo, long and even A Armstrong if we get an offer what we paid for him. Big summer ahead, as we’ve been saying for the past 4 years.
  15. I’d be tempted to stick with the back 3 but go to a 3412, with Armstrong in a natural ‘10’ position. Forster Bednerak Luanco Salisu KWP JWP Romeu Perrud Armstrong (toss up between him and Moi) Adams Broja
  16. Other than Forster, who did?
  17. His drop off in form reminds me a bit of Ings, towards the back end of last season, where he knew he wasn’t staying and was going through the motions and to a degree. I also think that teams have highlighted him as a key threat and know how to prevent the service to him. His goals have dried up, but so have Adams / the rest of the squad. He’s young, got bags of natural talent and has proven he can do it at this level but he’s clearly lost motivation, which isn’t a great sign. I hope for his sake he’ll learn and I’ve no doubt he will as his lack of effort wouldn’t be tolerated at any other clubs. We don’t and won’t know what goes on behind the scenes, but Ralph continues to pick him (which probably says more about the other 3 strikers we have), but I’d agree, for the last month performances haven’t been good enough. If he’s committed to the club and wants to stay here, then I think we should snap him up ASAP. If he isn’t and is half hearted, like it seems, then let him move on. Ive no doubt he’ll be scoring goals in the premier league wherever he is next season though.
  18. He already does.
  19. Don’t bring me In to this. I’ve said I’m not getting involved with him tonight. It’s boring.
  20. I thought we’d finish 20th because of him. Not the players. which I’ve said in hindsight was a bit silly given how bad some of the teams are.
  21. Genuine question, do you think our squad is in the worst 3 (ability wise) in the league?
  22. I agree, however the concern is how many more seasons can we rely on a freak run of 10 games to keep us up being pathetic in the other 30? It’ll bite us on the arse one season.
  23. ‘In their position’ being the key phrase (I.e relegation battle)… come on, you’re better than that, sir.
  24. Yep. Perhaps it’s not that we can’t see it, it’s just Because we’re not blaming him for our poor run, where everyone has been poor.
  25. Ralph has done the bare minimum imo. People bang on about how lucky we are to survive, but those same people also say how our squad is better than those below us. player for player, our squad is probably 5/6th give or take, worse in the league. Keeping us up isn’t the huge achievement that many make out. Loads out there could do the same. it’s been a decent few years with Ralph but we’re stale as fuck. We and he need a change.
