Bah! I looked up sapio romantic. Not to be confused with sapio sexual "sapiosexual refers to someone who is sexually attracted to intelligence, finding intelligence to be a major turn-on." There you go. Judgemental people might suggest that if you've no physical or socially redeeming qualities, and can't attract anyone who has, you can both pretend to be far more interested in how smart you both think you are. I'm glad I'm not some anti progressive thinker like that. All important pride flags added. The one with the brain is an alternate sapiosexual one. It's not used after the sapiosexual rally and the zombie cannibals rally got booked under the same banner.

Lallana replacement?

Another brave, bold policy decision to do the right thing for his country, and his people. Favouring them over decades of financial institutions, companies and countries greedily unbalancing trade for their own benefits. It's a shame it looks so drastic, but this is due to how long it has been allowed to continue. No doubt there will be hysteria over the move. But if he stays the course, the rebalancing will show the strength of our special ally and the use of the popular mandate Trump has. Invasion

We nearly got a home win. We weren't great by any measure. But we looked better because someone had an epiphany of putting players broadly into their favoured positions. It's a masterstroke, and if only we had the talent at the club to have given that a go earlier on. A similar genius might also start realising our tall forward, who is good in the air, might benefit from more deliveries like the one that gave us our goal. It was a good goal, but there's also been opportunities we've had to be implementing it for ages. We seemed to want to progressively weaken our side, the longer the game went on. Sule and TP were out the side for ages, and perhaps we're suffering for that now. Downes, who was on a yellow, was out for off field reasons, so also was subbed. Taking off Downes and Les removed our midfield. TP going off late on, removed our physical outlet. Dibling has played a lot of minutes, and is just not the same under IJ. Had they been able to last the course, and IJ not weakened us more with the other subs, we could well have held on. But we invited more pressure instead. The clearance for their goal wasn't a good one. That sent our defense out, leaving plenty of gaps, when a similar ball came right back in. We vacated all the space to try and make up for the first error. So better, but from such a self inflicted low bar.

There may have been teams who have gone into financial meltdown, who have had to build practically from scratch. "They only had 2 players on their books," sort of thing.

Yup. SR managed to ignore the multiple pile up of mistakes around them, and follow exactly the same path as before.

Sink

I think of my poor, Norwich supporting dad, who watched his team collapse towards the end of seasons, getting relegated with barely a whimper.

We're here to support MLG's literacy issues, in not being able to read the posts of others, and numeracy issues, in not being able to count to two. I thought it extended to his typing, and he was reassessing...

You'd have forgotten all about SR bulk buying Croatian players, in your rush to put a laugh beside Turkish's comedy gold (and now deleted) post. People mention the 30+ laughing emoji posts. But now there will be whispers of the one that would have beaten even that. 🙂

The old bad MLG habit (#76 in the series) of rushing back to edit posts has returned. I'm glad I quoted the original, which I'll stick with, rather than the revisionist version. It's heartening to know that a career in education can overcome, not only numeracy issues but literacy ones too. To:- I had already responded by pointing out that readers of your guide aren't supposed to know what's in the database, relying on your guide. A guide that's a bit tarnished as you've admitted fibbing in it, to drum up interest. That undermines a lot of trust in your objectivity on such things. Along the way you've failed to divert it to another group of players and saying all the kids in the other threads were doing it. Now it's revealed that SI was behind all the other kids doing it, getting them all to use a template. Even though MLG admitted to fibbing to get interest, it's shadowy SI's fault (and the other thread makers) Another good thing about education is that, in addition to getting help with numeracy and literacy issues, you've got access to safeguarding support. It's never too late to tell them about the groups of thread creators and game makers who coerced you into fibbing. To:- I had already responded "Equally dismissive to the video scouts. Yet, at the same time, unable to not mention some freelance work you've done. Rather arrogant of you. Who knows what other work/income streams the new video scouts appointees have? Looks like your comment of me not addressing your points was inaccurate. I see why a "Mr Wrong" cartoon appears on threads you are in. You also continue to be dismissive of the people who have these roles. You have no idea how this role fits into other income streams they have. You said yourself, you find time to have inputted opinions into FM for many years, alongside other things in your life. And all this because you got desperately defensive by an accurate comment I made about a FM thread.

Incredibly defensive, despite nothing being inaccurate in my points. Perhaps we can take a moment for MLG to give us an inspirational tale on how not being able to count past 2, hasn't stopped his career in either education, or in assigning numbers, sorry opinions, on FM.
