Oooh Adams!

Super Armstrong run really needed someone on the end of it.
-
really good closing down by us all across the pitch there. Took a while for Newcastle's error, but we stuck at it.
-
Don;t know if the keeper would have got it had it not been for the deflection. Don;t really care. We've come into this one after a quiet opening spell.

Yeeeees!

I was impressed by the Newcastle fans rendition of their favourite. "Oh, when the saints..." that the commentator thinks is part of their vocal support.

Not the best first touch. Great Romeu interceptioon to start the move.
-
oooh nearly. Great pass from Armstrong.
-
total booking. KWP was away from him after that run.

Were they asking you to chip in for the difference? 😊

Half a billion to lay the foundations of a team that might have to fight out of the Championship.

Credit to Saint Keef for not rising to "start small" in your reference to planning erectile dysfunction. Actually "not rising" wasn't the best choice of words there. 🙂

As great as the cup progress is, it's getting out of this league that has to be the main focus.

It would seem as though it's looking to find out if we think US salary caps and equitable funding across all Premier League clubs is the way to go. I didn't see a questions on removing relegation completely, franchises, how MSL clubs have umpteen ways of skipping past yearly caps, looking to increase the number of Champions League spots open to English clubs, or adoption of other ownership/ funding models.

Excellent!

It's the age old question of which super power you'd prefer. Invincibility or invisibility?

In my mind, I had a top team of pie eating supporters working with the medical team for co ordinated corinary decline and heart attacks on 60mins. But yeah, your way of faking it works too... 🙂

One Nope, like Just A Minute, people using BBC on this thread are forced to become radio 4 comedy panelists until they are 100. 🙂

We may have to take as much for Salisu as we can, if he wants to move on, doesn't want to sign an extension, and we get offers. That would leave us with Bednarek (2025), Lyanco (2025), Valery (2023) and Stephens (2022) I was thinking that if the club knew that Salisu didn't want to extend, they might free up extra funds by allowing Stephens to go. But as he seems to have signed an extension, all four could be in our squad for next season. It took a little bit of time for a variety of reasons for Salisu to become first choice, but he is by some distance, and that's what we'd need to replace. We can only hope that the next person there, is just as good as Salisu has turned out to be.

We didn't have many chances, and Forster stopped a couple of through balls for Villa, but over all...oh wait... we'd already conceded 4 by the time I got in to watch. So, not much I can learn from that. We kept working a defence with old Saints Mings and Chambers in it, without getting the chances you'd expect. Even after it looked as though they'd taken their foot off it a little. I'll need to read back and see the highlights to get an idea if was Ralph's system getting sussed out, or a bad day for errors, or even if it was Stevie G phoning up Ross Wilson at Ibrox to get all our secrets. Saints losing the moment safety looks remotely certain doesn;t seem that unusual an even either.
