  1. Shouty, psyched up Pickford saving with his face, is a good excuse to show his inspiration again:-
  2. Great to see them continuing to drive on. Keeps confidence high ahead of the big day.
  3. Forster, KWP, Perraud, Bednarek, Salisu, Romeu,JWP,Stu, Redmond, Adams, Broja. AA, Diallo and Tella most likely as subs. If Broja looks meh in training, then AA to start.
  4. He has plenty of experience in being an isolated striker, feeding off scraps. So settling in wouldn't be a problem. 🙂Otherwise, no. He's a bit more AA than a Broja type replacement, for me. If waiting means we can get more in the door, I'd take that. Although it would be bumpier.
  5. We should keep him for the season after, then. 🙂 Kidding, I'm kidding. It just popped into my mind...
  6. Richard Kizzbichlicher and >gasp< you can find Eric Black in his name! Kizzbichlicher out! 🙂
  7. True. But it's a more balanced team shape of substandard, mentally weak players, prone to individual errors. 🙂
  8. I just look at the selection and subs today. If it were a footballing rescue movie and all hero Shane Long had to do was score to save the hostages, they'd all die in a blazing inferno. He gets into roughly the right area of the park out of experience, not expectation. Even he clearly doesn't think he's ever going to score. He's the guy you bring on for nusiance value to see out a game, and he's good at that. If you're not picking Broja, then it's AA or even Tella to start there. Stu is also a starter. Having *both* Tella and Redmond is a light weight choice. It Stu and one of them or Mo. Having weakened our starting line up, Broja comes on only for Ralph to remove the one guy likely to give him some service in Adams. So we're left with Redmond and Tella for that, and that's not what either of them do. Another weakened set up. It was no surprise when Palace began to dominate. We don't have a lot on the bench to add steel to the midfield. Smallbone probably being the option if shiifting to 3 there. Broja offered a few good moments after coming on. But became isolated very quickly. Also, as it went on, he was miles away from getting up, with Redmond being by far the furtherst forward. So, Palace just kept coming at us. We didn't look as though we had any plan to counter Palace, and were limping it out for the draw. Ralph's pacing and pouting lip couldn't turn it around, and that more points dropped form a winning position. That's the disapointment. After all this time, and all those promising starts, we can't learn to see things out.
  9. Welll, that just sums up our performance this half.
  10. Whoops nearly between Fraser and Salisu
  11. Ooft. 0 from 2 for Stu.
  12. Palace players struggling with gravity today. Lots of falling over.
  13. Tella definitely struggling now.
  14. Broja already looking a bit isolated, as Ralph decided to take Adams off. >sigh<
  15. Surely a booking for Gallagher?
  16. Less moaning on the ground, Adams, and more getting up and back.
  17. Forster will be disapointed. But a lot of players just taking up positions, rather than forcing Palace into making decisions, before it.
  18. sod. They made that look easy.
  19. Zaha coming on. So they should be down to 10 men in 10 mins. C'Mon JWP!
  20. That was sneaky, revealing next year's kit not on the kit thread.
  21. I thought they'd be arranging a friendly or two in the interim, just to keep things ticking over. While you don't want injuries, you don't want to have lost too much sharpeness
