The North is not “ out of the way” 😂 The Uk is a small Island. The multi millionaire players can commute to training in helicopters. Di you think the best players in the world have a hard time living in the north have a problem playing for Man City, Utd and Liverpool. Behave. Geography matters not. Money talks. Nothing else. Newcastle will have Mbappe and the rest within 3 years. Good luck to the Newcastle fans. I hope they enjoy the next few years. The Premier league has been a closed money shop for years. I was gutted the ESL didn’t go through as we might have got a domestic league back based on merit not the WW premier league.

Pot, kettle! I left Southampton nearly 20 years ago. Came back for a visit about 6 months ago. Sad to say it but what character there was had been hollowed out of the city. Its a chav, student infested grothole with chicken shops and bars everywhere. I certainly don’t think Southampton can gloat over Newcastle, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester and the like.

Indeed, paying to go to Eton invariably leads to the chums network running the country. Doesn’t matter how incompetent. People think a posh accent is a good indicator of leadership. Worked in WW1 too. Over the top boys what ho! Blind leading the blind. -

To be fair Tories are scum. -
Very much this, not many people stating the obvious. The country is triggered by crisis after crisis and there is no confidence in the govt. Collective responsibility has been challenged everywhere from civic rules to vaccines so anything the govt says is taken with a pinch of salt. Any hint of shortages leads to Everyman for himself. Place the blame where it lies, with the Tory govt and their enablers.

Yep you go on ahead with your head in the sand. Problem is you can only “whatabout? “ for so long until the well runs dry. where are all the brexit benefits Johnny?
-
Christ thats good. TBF if thats the only shortage they have sorta proves they are better off in the single market
-
Currently in Croatia, no food shortages. No issues on fuel. Anyone would think you would say anything to deny Brexit was a cause for anything. Btw no fuel shortages in Northern Ireland. Wonder why that may be?

Sorry, the division is such that even though they know they have been conned they will not admit it. They double down and use every excuse under the sun to deny Brexit is a cause of any issues in the uk
-
Ohhhhhh, I don’t know. Johnson has a claim on that crown 🤴 😂

There was no clamour for a referendum on EU membership . It was a non issue. It was an issue for right wing nutjobs within the Tory party. But they got their way and we are where we are

Do you have a job?

As soon as it affects those who had no choice in the matter. So the generation of 16/17 year olds who couldn’t vote on it in 2016. Also the generation aged 12 onwards in 2016 I suppose. Also when the country can see what a mistake was made it had the right to change its mind. Again democracy is an evolving thing. You don’t have to accept the status quo or even regression indefinitely

Abstract thinking 🤔 I like it. Silver linings I guess. Lol 😆

If that is your position then we should have another one now we see the disaster it is. Surely you’d agree?
