Only a friendly against an everage Scottish team. The real effort should be made in 2 weeks for the Millwall match. Davis, Thomas, Mills and Lallana stood out for me, the rest were average but is Murty really only 34? He played OK but looks about 40 !!!! Mills got around a bit and Davis made some cracking saves and commanded the box in the first half. Second half the back 4 were awful. Saying that Ajax were very, very good and probably could have crucified us. Good crowd and the only way is up...
