  1. Very strange decision and even stranger timing, can only assume they have someone lined up??? Still, it could be worse, we could be in pimpeys position......
  2. you and 12 thousand others then.....
  3. those that were genuinely put out by the actions then just make an official complaint. They are duty bound to investigate all complaints and then you will get a reason why it happened....just a thought but at least you'll get a response. Just phone up and they have to record it......
  4. correct. Soton city council are responsible for the road closures, not the Police. Mate at SCC said there were regular complaints about the road being closed......so you can't win either way !
  5. can i clear up the Harding miss....i was sat in front of it and he was offside anyway. Flag was up and would not have counted
  6. Anyone who thinks we were good today are deluded. That was one god awful, unimaginative performance I have seen in a long time. We were poor from front to back. Jaidi was terrible, couldn't pass wind properly, Puncheon, apart from 10 mins in 2nd half was just as bad. Lambert not fit, was down with cramp with 15 mins to go, scneiderlin huffed and puffed but got nowhere, Lallana was the only piece of skill out there. Admittedly Barnard had a shot well saved but a draw at home in front a great crowd and that with a masively deflected free kick...please. Pathetic, performance and a total kick in the teeth to Marcus. The excuses stop now
  7. Moors Valley park near Ringwood is good fun - massive woodland trail, play area, steam train etc. Ours love it
  8. Pack out the ground for Orient - roar the team to a win for ML
  9. 1. Fill the ground for the next match 2. sing his appreciation all day 3. as already mentioned, a commuunity based fund / foundation is a great idea. A statue is not appropriate as he had only just really come in the door. RIP ML
  10. Just to say 'Thank you'
  11. this is pure farce. AP will be here at christmas
  12. Antonio is not the answer, a decent second striker is what we need along with a midfielder with some imagination. Antonio, although useful, was at times abysmal last season

beach still looks best option, unless of course we make a couple of decent signings this week then i may pop along.

Wonder how many will go....I think i'll hit the beach with a beer!
  15. absolutely, no defence for them. They chose to do it
  16. I've said it before, all those involved had a choice...to get involved or walk home like the vast majority of us without getting involved. They chose to get involved. All to easy to blame others for their actions in todays namby pamby, nannie state. It's the Police's fault, it's their parents fault, it's the Pompey fans fault, it's the Leeds fans fault, it's the clubs fault....utter, utter rubbish, it is no one's fault but their own. So face facts and they should the consequences.
  17. Rickie for England ! Can't do any worse than that shower of over paid, over rated buch of illiterate ponces
  18. I remember that day. I was travelling up to White Hart lane to see saints take on Spurs and there were loads and loads of Leeds fans on the other side of the motorway heading south. Knew they wouldn't all fit in dean Court and then got back in the evening , stopped at a pub in Brockenhurst and there were laods in there as well, camping up the road !! I think we lost 2 - 1 to spurs as well?
  19. it's a specific offence covered by section 4 of the football offences act 1991. Basically anyone entering the field of play i.e. Pitch and area immediately next to it i.e. Over the hoardings without lawful excuse the onus is on them to prove that they had a good reason to do so,is guilty of tne offence and can be arrested. So don't do it.... Sent from my Nokia phone using Tapatalk.
  20. It's not their job. Stewards are there for that.....they are specifically instructed not to go on the pitch unless in an emergency. very stupid thread.
  21. This is really, really boring now. All those who got nicked had a choice. They could have: 1. Chosen to go home like the vast majority of us and get on with life knowing we outplayed pimpey for 65 mins or 2. Choose to stay behind, chuck stuff, goad the pimpey fans and rattle a few fences. Those that chose 2 have to face up to their consequences. It's really easy to blame anyone else, blame the Police, blame the garage for having a garage there, blame the teams for being drawn against each other so trouble was inevitable blah , blah ,blah. They had a choice. Simple. Now face up to it.
  22. We're a big fish in a litle sea. Lots of clubs have brought good numbers to our ground for this div (hartlepool, oldham and a few other aside). Rovers brought 3200 for an eve game yet only average just over that for home games if you take out the away support. B'mth will sell their 3200 for our place, good luck to them but as someone else has said, they ain't got any money to improve, saying that they will have the success of promotion behind them and will probably survive in this league next year, whilst hopefully we will wave goodbye to them and to Pimpey as we pass them...
  23. compeed blister plasters are the dogs boll....
  24. no, not very good.... rubbish against Leyton Orient, didn't go yesterday so can't comment but mate said he was average at best. RB is the place we need to buy in the summer
