One game that the club should perhaps offer free travel for. No harm in asking the club. -
Well done to the players and everyone involved in Southampton FC, including us !

Sunderland had two straight reds today...

I was actually bashed on the shoulder during this one and told to calm down by an older woman behind me as I wasjumping all over her feet on that crap terrace.
-
I sit behind a guy who clearly does eat about five of them, he should pay for one and half season tickets and the bloke next to him for half of one.
-
Mirror carp, who actually took your ticket?
-
The police would not have taken the ticket, the stewards would have. Police are only there. to assist stewards who enforce all the ground rules I.e. Ejections are by stewards, telling people to sit down is by stewards and jobsworth 'you've been drinking out of a hip flask' is the job Of stewards. Police are only there if it gets out of order and people chant stuff about boyfriends....! If, by somewhat remote chance the Police did actually take it then you should have been given a receipt. Oh, and they would not have breathalysed you unless you were driving your car around the Northam end..... Best chance I reckon is as someone already has said, approach the club tomorrow calmly and objectively asking for an explanation I you could phone the echo and get a grumpy picture of you on the front although I suppose you won't have your ticket to show....! Good luck against the jobsworth

Capital One Cup: Bristol City Ticket Details Announced
RedWillie replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Is it worth someone on here who's good at letter writing asking the club exactly what they are trying to achieve with the pricing for this match. I was going to take my two kids, but not at those prices. They are completely missing the trick with young fans and people who can't afford the PL. This may be my last season with a season ticket. It's got beyond a joke and has an impact on my enjoyment of the whole day. -
Football's gone mad. It's overpriced and Mr average just won't put up with it anymore. My nephew binned his season ticket this year - too expensive ( and he has a good job) to hand pick the odd game. My brother used to go to 15 ish games a season, he now goes to about 5 or 6. Sooner or later it will come to a head. I have a season ticket but it may be my last year, was gonna take the kids to bristolcity game but not now - another £50 evening with travel. Can't blame the west ham fans - it's getting beyond the average fan.
