I was there when saints lost 2-0 to Notts county in the cup midweek in 2006 I think..- God what an awful game that was....My son was 3 months old, my wife said - go watch saints have a night out....Awful game.... Anyway other notables Forest in the League cup final '79, Matty making his england debut for El Tel at Wembley v Denmark in a friendly, and of course the last league game at the Dell.... Oh and watching that game v's Burnley that signalled relegation to League 1...That penalty miss.......

Impressed..given the random nature of the four in front of him he has done well...one iffy moment in the first half when a ball came in anda lack of communication with someone meant he whacked RodAllega that could offended in a pen..

First game of the season for me and my nipper. His last game( his first and only so far ) was the four nil defeat of Derby last season...te same woud be nice!!

We have more points than we did three games in to our first season in Lg1...I think people thought we would get relegated from Lg1 back then too!! It is possible to have a crap start and avoid relegation.. If we have 0 points by Christmas I will worry....and even then I am not fussed about becoming a yo yo club anymore..It's funny, with the 27 years in the top flight i was scared we would implode and never come back - we have shown you can sink a long way, enjoy a rollercoaster ride of emotion and come back stronger and more unified - so what of we go down? We fight to come back up...even if we are sold off or all teh players leave, we are in a position to carry on and survive...nothing can be worse than -10 in lg1 !!!! on wards and upwards!!

Really depends what you have done,and what hurts! For me the ground became my best friend, lying flat and trying to let the muscles relax around the problem area. HeAt and cold both help muscle issues, and if you can see a physio and get proper manipulation and an assessment it is well worth it. If the issue is disc related I strongly recommend seeing a proper specialist as you can do more harm than good. As a man who has suffered prolapsed discs you do not want to make them worse....

Got one for my son who is six on saturday - it arrived yesterday and looked fine - I then turned it over and noticed the 6 on the back was actually an upside down 9!! No difference you cry apart from the lion being on his head...anyway i phoned and hassled them saying this is crap - i have 2 days to get my sons present changed - fair play they shipped a new one yesterday and it arrived this morning in good time, even without me returning the faulty one -which is being posted today... I know they get loads of crap and screwed up in the first place, but they sorted this in under 24hrs and all is well, so fair play to the megastore.....

Anyone know if our form over the last two years is up there with the best of any team in all four leagues? I guess Man U, Man C and Chelsea may of had a better win ratio over the last 2 seasons, but we must of run them pretty close - Reading and Brighton did not do the job over two seasons so we must be up there... Anyone??

Alexi cherednik..sp..another Russian right back I seem to recall! Tried to do this the other day with slightly different criteria.. Could you do a saints 11 based on internationals that could of played at the euro championships....excluding English players.... Now that was tough...but you have poles czechs, etc to fill the 11.....
