Leeds 79' league cup semi final - I was 7, in teh Milton road end on a box with My dad...Still vaguely remember Terry Curran scoring in a 1-0 win that sent us to Wembley.....Other matches that stick in the mind are from the later era - a game against Spurs we won 2-0 I think with Beattie scoring both -It was bloomin cold !!Also a testimonial for Alan Ball involving Vancouver Whitecaps !! Brucie Grobelaar was in goal for them !!

I was 3 that year. Ma n pa both at The twin towers. Was at the reception on the Sunday and still have the souvenir t shirt that fitted me back then! My lad is now four and has his kit, and I am hoping he has memories of saints from his time as a nipper like I did... I can understand those who think it all a bit when I was a lad... But it remains our greatest day, and should never be forgotten. Let's hope we can get new memories to replace it starting with our first promotion in thirty odd years!!

Did the Honeymoon 8 years ago, splitting time between Sri Lanka (5 day whirlwind which was absolutely amazing) and the Maldives (10 days doing nothing !!). Went through Kuoni and stayed on Kuramathi, which was about an hour out of Male by boat transfer, although if you wanted you could fly. The island was a self contained resort, as most are, and had everything including dive school and fishing trips etc. We had a great apartment and the food was great too. I would say if you just wanted to relax and maybe have the odd day snorkling or fishing it's a great place to go. If you have time I recomend Sri Lank too while you are there, it is such an amazing green place and if you get up to the mountains is stunning - a real contrast to the islands...Oh, and we went in November so it was cloudy quite a bit but still bloomin warm, and enough sun to get frazzled !!

Nick Holmes ! Watched his goal against Liverpool on U tube last week. Absolute stunner from 25 yards swerving into the top corner.. won the game 3-2 with a Martin Foyle dive for a penalty !! David Peach was a player I always liked back in t he day, and from later on I suppose i always though Jo Tessem did a job for us and was always under rated.... Shipperly did his bit too..but blimey, he is twice the man he was back then if you have seen the photos !!

We were going to lose on Tuesday and everyone was doom and gloom saying we were too weak etc. Then we get a stonking result and it's how many hours till we are top.. Notts c are in great form, top of that table. We sounded poor today but are still undefeated this year and only half way through jan if we need to strengthen. As far as I can tell we have not dropped out the top six and are a game in hand of the auto spot still. Some people need to get a grip, enjoy the ride and chill out ffs!!!!
