I have to say I agree with this view..and we can maybe get a decent striker in Jan on loan hopefully. I thought the quality on the ball was very good, apart from Robertson's control(!) but they definitely lack strength up front. Still, we're not as bad as some teams... 3 at least

Apart from the money issue, why would a young player, playing in his first full season, playing attractive football where he is appreciated, playing with friends he's grown up with.. want to move? He's still earning more than his peers in other professions, knows he is popular and could become a talisman for the club like MLT- and he can always move and earn mega bucks in the future. He's on a long contract too. I think he will stay, regardless of money offers for at least another year.

But surely, if the football played is better, which by all accounts it is, then the results are more likely to follow! Everything must be kept in perspective to last season and the terrible performances which too often appeared in SMS. At the start of this season most people were settling for a mid table finish- at best. I, along with others, believe that we will actually finish near or in teh playoffs...mainly because I think these players will get stronger as the season progresses. Support the team now, and don't keep harking on about how bad things are..you know you'll feel better for it!!

Gentlemen...after last year..surely the result can't be worse in terms of goals against! I, for one, would be more than happy with a goalless first half...please don't concede quickly...then I think confidence will begin to grow. I don't expect it to be pretty, but a point or 3 is achievable with a little luck. COYR
