Please can we get a win first..off anyone's backside...then thrash someone. We need points first..and then the fun can begin or is that too pessimistic?

Leon Crouch is a man whom I have high regard for. He is successful in his own field, beyond any of us on here I would guess. He did, it would appear, try and cut costs in his short time as chairman prior to the return of RL. He did appoint Pearson who helped galvanise the players and, perhaps as importantly, began drawing the fans back into a united group. He does wear his heart on his sleeve, and probably calls a spade a spade, but I, for one, prefer that approach in this arena, than one of a "diplomat"/ slippery eel/liar. We all know LC has spent his own money, massive by my standards, to help the club. He's not perfect, nor am I, nor anyone else I know, but at least he has some integrity. I hope to meet the man one day and have a good honest discussion about Saints, argue about players etc and enjoy the debate. If he's not involved with any takeover, at least he can hold his head high and sit next to fellow supporters!

Disagree about "on current form"- -10 points is a DISASTER- Look how many team would have dropped into the bottom 4 in League one if they had been docked 10 points. Leeds played VERY well AND were lucky to get such a good run going. After the last few seasons we need all the help we can get. Also, I think we don't deserve the -10 as we weren't in administration.. simply and legally. It should be fought, and then if Pinnacle get nowhere, then at least they can say they tried. I'd HATE to get to May next year and be blaming Pinnackle for not challenging the deductionj when we just missed out on promotion/playoffs or, even worse, were relegated because of the deduction! IMHO of course

How about 2 part time managers...WGS to get the players fit and "sort them" if necessary...and KK to inspire and get them playing flashy football.... They can both play golf with MLT and enjoy the South coast revival... Oh well, one can but dream!

KK = hope...something we haven't had a lot of recently. He is a motivator and, most importantly, a Winner! he may take a few months to get the side gelled, but there will be one game that lifts the lid and inspires everone and will lead to a BIG push for promotion/top six. Hope... a lovely word!

Why not? MLT has no direct connections to Saints, as of now, until the takeover happens! he can speak to anyone he likes, can't he, and noone can say he's poaching a manager because MLT has no job...so to speak. He can chat "informally" and make sure that the person they want is ameniable (sp?) and be ready to get the ball rolling on Thursday/Friday when he finally becomes chairman etc. Or am I just being pedantic?

Not impressed. It looks like the same in most years...and look how badly we start seasons in most years. Surely a few prem teams would come to us for a warm up, which would challenge our team technically and show them that prem teams have fit players... OK sorry to moan, but sometimes I wish we had people in change who challenged the norm for saints and raised the bar!
