  1. Totally self-inflicted. Got every decision wrong, whilst spending an astronomical amount of money. Imagine if we had this season’s transfer kitty during the Poch and Koeman eras. They’re incompetent or skates, or both. No one deserves to stay. We’ll only keep Lavia if Pep tells him a year in the Championship will do him good, then they can activate the buy back.
  2. Under the Welsh PE teacher we were certain to go down and played awful aimless hoofball. It may be too late to save us, or he may not be good enough, but I’m hopeful of at least enjoying a performance now (due to his RB background), and if we can get a few results in Feb and March, who knows. I’m in.
  3. It might be his favourite, but we’ve been very poor playing 3 at the back for the last 2-3 years, even against league one opposition. I’d rather a 433, albeit it’s slim pickings for the front 3.
  4. Hope the board follow him out the door, they’re all to blame for this shambles
  5. No. Merely the change in formation suited us better and that change still counts as his tactics
  6. So the 4222 is only Ralph’s when we lose? Not when it works?
  7. This is embarrassing. We’re not entitled. And we have to take the rough with the smooth. No need for over reaction, we’ve tried that. It didn’t work on our way down the leagues.

    Dele Alli

Couldn’t agree more. If people don’t think le tiss could cut it, they never saw him play, and the comments above are exactly the same BS spouted by Rodney Marsh, Phil Thompson and George Best on soccer Saturday in the 90s. He could turn a game in its head with skill and flair unlike the modern day run fast, can’t pass, shoot or cross, but can press forward.

He played out of position, in a team with 10 men, calm down
  10. Bit harsh. That was the norm in the 90s. Not necessarily a sackable offence.
  11. Perhaps booing an anti racism gesture isn’t the best way to protest a political ideology or movement. It doesn’t give people a lot to go on and it makes the people booing look racist, whatever their disagreement. Perhaps giving more constructive feedback would help like “down with maxismim, up with capitalism”, “laissez Faire”, “we hate violence”.
  12. Yeah let’s ignore the reason for taking knee has been clearly expressed.
  13. You’d best call kick it out and the FA snowflakes too. They’ve described booing as an act of racism. But I’m sure the political objection will save people booing from being labelled racists just as statements like “I’m not a racist, but” and “I have a black mate” have done so successfully previously.
  14. FA distanced themselves from the BLM movement in June 2020, this has nothing to do with that. If you’re opposing the knee due to that you’re about a year out of date. The reason is clear, this isn’t an excuse to boo.
  15. Or they’re being called racist because they’re opposing an anti racism demonstration.
  16. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12326827/england-players-being-booed-for-taking-a-knee-has-sinister-undertones-says-kick-it-outs-tony-burnett if you boo an anti racism demonstration, and it’s clearly been stated as that, most people will think you’re racist.
  17. I’ve always thought we’ve been at our best when we’ve had 3 up top, a target man, someone with pace and someone with guile. Shearer / Wallace / Le Tiss or Lambert / Jay Rod / Lallana or Pelle / Mane / Tadic. I’d love us to go back to that style of attack, but can’t see it happening until there are changes at every level. We have to be more direct next year, and stop playing backwards for the CBs or GK to hoof it or give it away.
  18. Stop any contract negotiations and get rid. I won’t miss him trying to dictate our attacking play nor his poor defending. I’ve lost count of the number of goals we’ve conceded when the opponent has been totally unmarked in the box.
