Yes Rob i agree. Why does NA think he can get Guly/Barnard to do that job when they clearly cannot, I would like to have a pace option. As thats what we clearly lack at the mo!

I'd say we need 2 strikers, one in the Lambert mould. And one pacey striker is a must!!!

I agree WC, but dont you think if you play a certain way, and a player gets injured AKA lambert. You should have a simular style / better substitute waiting, Because we havent!! Guly/ Barnard just dont fit that mould at all!!!

For someone who is usually glass half empty, I still remain confident that we will achieve automatic promotion with this squad plus a couple of additions. I expect 2 signings in January, a striker (one of the ones we targeted in the summer but didn't get) and a new CB (again as we targeted in the summer)I think we also need a MF in the Chaplow vien as well!!

I have no doubt NA is the right manager to lead us, but the away form issue is crux of matter. To answer WC's post he tried the same tatics against BC they did not work, so hey they might work for the next game Not! He even admitted so in his summary i quote ""We put Steve De Ridder up front with Guly to be a front two and then all of a sudden get Adam Lallana in the pocket - we did that for ten minutes, haven't scored and reverted back to where we were" Why! if it gave you more options, why abandon it after 10 mins. Not every team can score in 10 mins FFS! Back to your post B the B. I dont think were overperforming we have a good mix of NPC and L1 players that have a good team spirit, because were struggerling against the lower sides more, has not been overlooked by most when comparing it with our L1 seasons! We may need to grind out results sometimes, rather than play pretty football.

I think how we react in the January transfer window, will define whether we are serious about going up first time and take advantage of our remarkable start. And has NA got the Gravitas to attrack the right/ high profile players!

Sorry but no! I have never criticized NA, but our away form is putting question marks over his abilities.Till he can rectify this, he will have his detractors i'm afraid. We need to get away results to stay at or near the top. As home results will not be enough on their own!!!

Attitudes of players we want to sign could be. 1: Southampton big club, i want to play for them/ how much money can i get from them. 2: Nigel Adkins good boss doing well, i'd like to sign for him/ dont want to sign for him he's just a made up physio!! No Gravitas.
