  1. Has this ever been sung? I must say I don’t get many’s emphasis on a Church Spurs style OWTS, acting like it’s so magical. It’s dull, boring, and frankly hard for the lungs to sing. I’d much rather return to the Triumphial versions of owts putting everyone in a good mood. As long as there’s no backboard bashing it shouldn’t be too quick. Get rid of the call and response. That way you can simply add more lines such as this and drown out the opposing teams - which I see as the main reason of utilising the song.
  2. The success of this system promotion wise is of little benefit or disadvantage to Martin. These days, the pure fact a manager plays this style is enough to gain their way up the pole of top jobs.
  3. It’s awful. Martin is really starting to piss me off. Decision making and personality.
  4. We go into this one as clear favourites. They have a depleted squad with many injuries to star players. They only have 60 points this season, we have 67. Anfield is a tough ground to play at, they’ll struggle.
  5. Should put safe standing at the top of both the Chapel and Northam, otherwise the away fans noise is to be unopposed on one side of the stadium. Either give us a proper atmosphere or leave it how it is.
  6. He reads from a script and his constant use of poetic or latin phrases is both unnatural and annoying.
  7. He won’t regret it. He has no connections to the current world. No troubles, no doubts, no feelings; just Zen, as Buddha taught him.
  8. We’re going to win the cup. Ey ay addio and all that… We’ll be running round Wembley with another victory avenging the Bury defeat 124 years ago with a 4-0 win. B*stards.
  9. What a baby
  10. To be fair, whilst I feel the talking shop of parliament is embarrassing, the Gaza vote is highly irrelevant either way. UK stance on the issue means nothing other than our arms sales - sales which if reduced will simply be resupplied by the US through Israel lobby backing. Therefore, this vote is more a sentiment “we were on the right side of history vote” and the people protesting calling for a ceasefire vote are deluded to think it is anything different. The decision is not even down to Israel, the US call the shots. This is why I don’t call it a genocide: genocide being the killing of a large number of people with the goal of destroying a state. Firstly <0.6% of Palestine’s population has perished, too many as in every war but not a “genocide” in act and secondly as long as the US believed and supports a two state solution, this will remain. In short, only the US opinion matters and the UK demanding a ceasefire is like a fugley man asking out a celebrity supermodel. Mob rules! Sad state but it’s all around us. I found it a bit fishy that Labour changed their position on the issue so soon after Reeves was harassed. Tory party no different in abuse, but haven’t really moved positions. I was originally intrigued by the idea of a personal MP bodyguard, however with houses targeted as well it may go beyond this. T*rrorist scale is high and MPs are certainly on high alert right now.
  11. Cheap politics from all except the SNP who should rightly be aggrieved. Whilst the speaker made a mistake (imo) the justification of the paper being filled solely with Speaker resignation talk is impossible and ridiculous. The reality Tv show that is British parliament is less fixated upon the issues at hand and more upon she said he said. The issue should be Gaza not the speaker.
  12. Millwall are in for a thrashing
  13. Watching Biden here and in a documentary on John McCain I was watching a month or so back which was made when Biden was VP, it is sad to see such a thoughtful and decent politician then compared to now. This clip despite being very good just shows why this whole election is ridiculous. The man was out of it in 2020 and if he remains in office beyond this year he won’t survive the full term. What a good president he could’ve been…25 years ago. Now an old man puppet for a party. Same can be said for the GOP with Mitch McConnell.
  14. Consistency is the key to victory. Take away the injuries, Martin needs to rediscover his best team. He’s seemingly reverted back to favouritism.
  15. Hardly a blueprint - anyone can beat a team without a solid midfield. Downes desperately needed.
  16. You’re getting mauled like your cheddars
  17. Got to be Graziano, he would chest the ball instead of head it as he didn’t want to ruin his hair. Used to ask for the “Pelle” haircut when getting a new trim.
  18. I think the hate was always surrounding his finishing. As a player he's very valuable to us - Adam Blackmore and Tessem explain it best on Solent, with regards to his movement and hold up play for others. AA on his own just doesn't cut it.
  19. He's not wrong here. Another example of the big club bias argument could be FFP now, no doubt the structure is corrupt.
  20. Curse him for f*cking up our percentage of passes completed stat. The other day we were on par with Man City, Real Madrid et al.
  21. Everyone thinks they’re tw*ts as well, Pat.
  22. It’s so sad watching our many great players surrounded by absolute idiots who can’t pass the ball 5 yards. The left back and this sub-par midfield are awful.
  23. I don’t mean it in a way of an opinion being good or bad. Just that MPs are paid to give their opinion and make law. Not saying your opinion because it’s sensitive to someone else in the commons watching is cowardly. What’s the limit? Should someone be brought in every week to make sure certain topics are not discussed? Sunak was listing a myriad of Starmers U-Turns, he didn’t focus solely on trans issues. Discuss any issue, please don’t make it so we have a system in which parliament is suppressed as some person may get upset. Why was she there in the first place - i’ll tell you, as if you look at Starmers social media page it’s very obvious - political opportunism. Frankly, laughable is the idea that Starmer actually cared (he didn’t, he just made a big deal out of it as a cheap political football, much like Sunak in his silly list). She was planted there for the start. It’s quite sad. Edited Response as I was out of Posts: How did Labour know he would make the jibe? It’s really not very hard, he makes the same points and same jibes at Starmer every week. Not mentioning it would’ve been an oddity. I’m not saying the act was scripted, im merely saying Starmer wanted to use the woman as a political stick for opportunistic pictures - which he did look at his SM. I used the word planted as no one else mentioned the case other than Sir Starmer. If everyone else doesn’t see it as completely unrelated and political opportunism that’s fine.
  24. Add a clause: Every time his shoulder pops out £1 million.
  25. How undemocratic! You can’t express your opinion MP as i’ve brought in someone who disagrees with you. Sunak has been consistent on his views on this topic. The idea he should curve his opinion to suit someone (despite how disgusting the case was) is ridiculous, as is Starmers use of it as a political point scorer, desperate for a correlation between the two.
