  1. so who’s in midfield ffs, not lyanco, not lyanco, not lyanco
  2. Collins the sort of CB we should’ve been getting
  3. We do need someone to drop into the space between midfield and attack. it’s like no man’s land in there for us.
  4. It’s that time of year where I become a fan of any team against possible relegation contenders.
  5. West Ham fans blaming it on defensive tactics.
  6. yes, I think they’ll be a young player at maybe LB? Jones seemed quite pissed off with Perraud last game taking him off early.
  7. That’s not what he said in his TED talk meaning there’s a 100% chance one of you are wrong, and a 43.25% chance we stay up. Thank f*ck the league table always lies I was beginning to worry about us being 20th
  8. The problem is Ely gives 100% to get the ball back only to give it away 20 seconds later. both are rubbish, but i’d go for aribo this game just for a change.
  9. Few… as of 3 years. 3 years of Covid, War, Global inflation and self inflicted inflation by Truss budget has masked over Brexit plans. Brexit did allow us to get the vaccine out quickly. The idea of Brexit does still have benefits in theory, it’s just the weak government hasn’t correctly negotiated for the practical side. I believe time should be given (about a decade) to truly see Brexit effects, which is why I was talking about the Brexit bashing by the guardian. For example deals such as with the illegal migrants with France was a disgrace and didn’t truly show the benefits of Brexit, neither did the one sided trade deal with Australia, or taking control of the channel fishing to maximum extent. We have managed to increase liability on ourselves, rightly or wrongly we should no longer be in the EU sphere of influence on laws and trade deals, which I think was an authoritarian burden on us. In short, I never said there was so many benefits as of yet. The benefits are extremely slim I agree - due to mismanagement of a host of bilateral deals and time must be given before remainers claim it was wrong.
  10. 12.5% win rate at charlton HCDAJFU, unlike Jones he has the premier league managerial experience as well which people on this forum are desperate for.
  11. Probably bought a stop the count t-shirt
  12. I like this, though i’d go Mccarthy if fit 3-2 saints, somehow though we’ll still be dominated
  13. Is this game on TV anywhere?
  14. tbh in the cup against city last year when we levelled it we had the momentum and I thought we would go on and win. Then they unfairly started shooting from outside the box and we lose 1-4.
  15. better than what we have now, but still not very good. looked decent in the latter years as he was surrounded by other even worse players. People have short memories calling him a “club legend” I remember when we had a good side and he came in the odd game people would gasp in the crowd when he got the ball as he would always do a dodgy pass back to the keeper.
  16. I agree with a lot of this, but this part has got to be a wind up
  17. still not as much crying as goes on this forum after every match
  18. I watched it, amazing how did they managed to find the biggest crybabies in the UK and put them all on the same table.
  19. I mean it would help to see if he's decent at finishing or not. When was the last time he actually had a shot inside the box?
  20. Superman atm Channel 5
  21. “So why do you think you have what it takes to work at Sainsburys?” ”Well I got an A* in Skateboarding”
  22. we did at the start but nothing changed, the players just aren’t very good and fans are sick of it. Even the Itchen is hilariously toxic. I get supporting till the end losing 3-1 to Man City, but when it’s against Brighton, Newcastle or sheffield wednesday (we won but they were better) and you’re still getting dicked at home it’s a bit different.
  23. Not like The Guardian to spread a hatred of Brexit.
  24. Sitting down to relax whilst watching a classic film.
