last word on ings… whilst i’ve seen a few people say he’s not going to get game time behind scammaca and antonio, I look at it a different way. west ham have a good squad waiting to kick in much like wolves and potentially forest, and I feel villa were not fully utilising ings, and despite his lack of effect on their squad he has shown if given consistent games to get full fitness he still has the ability to be a 20 goal a season striker with the right service. I think he’s a rare banker to stay up, the best proven prem striker you can get for the ceiling of a relegation battle club and west ham have just bought that for 15 million, and so I have no doubt they’ll stay up. we should have been all over it. For us, the money needs to be around 20-25 million spent on a proper out and out striker with a good goal scoring record (and potentially good XG lol) to keep us up. whether that’s moffi or beta male beto idk and idc who it is just get someone who we can get behind, as until then I don’t think anyone telling the truth would say they fully believe this team can stay up with this strike force. we need someone the players and fans trust in to score goals, get it done.
