I hope he comes back next season and that this isn’t a goodbye, the championship could’ve been great for him. He’s a decent player who gave 100% (one of the few last season), though he did get torn a new arsehole against teams like Arsenal in the 3-3 so can be a bit of a liability when coming up against good attackers. Definitely better than Manning.

Looks much better than the paintsill guy. Requests the ball, good movement, good technique. The other guys goals looked like pure luck based off pace with no real control.

Loss in goals but I think with another quality striker in the door alongside Che, Ryan Fraser is the type of player to deliver a lot more assists for a striker. The key is in the striker.

Luton really aren’t very good

Problem is he has to be a fairly regular starter otherwise he throws his toys out the pram.

I can't see how you don't think he's an asset in this league. Other than the fact you clearly have a massive agenda against him fishing up stats from when he was a young player 20 odd not scoring double figures. We signed him at 22 off the back of scoring over 20 goals in this league. He's come into this league and done the job asked of him thus far. He's not a great premier league player but with our strike force he'd be the last one to sell right now.

I think he was always a good player. Can't finish a 1v1 to save his life, but still turns into prime Pele in this league for some reason. Any alternative signing is likely to downgrade our chances of going up imo.

The two seasons he played most regularly for Everton was under Ancelotti so he clearly saw something in him.

It's like a bad scent left over to remind you of last season, enough to send shivers down ones spine. Also the song 'won't stop till we're legends' last season seemed fitting as we didn't stop losing to the likes of Everton, Forest and others. Noticed they didn't play that "It started in a church" video bollox this time round. The Saints are coming is a lovely reintroduction, other than that let the fans create the atmosphere. With all four sides of the ground now seemingly having a section for some chanting, I see no reason why we cannot.

Second half Alcaraz getting forward, 1-2s, long range shots is top for this league. First half I thought he was fairly awful, letting people glide past him, being out-challenged. Then he grew into the game and showed why he could be a key difference for us, great player when he’s bang at it.

This is kind of funny, but this so easily could have been us.
