  1. Nickmyshitter really giving us all the goodies this January.
  2. It’s a sad day when someone chooses Hull over us
  3. Just keep the momentum.
  4. What could this line be changed to. So that it doesn't mention pompey....
  5. Leicesters Ndidi out for 3 months,
  6. Ironically that farmer song is one I have actually heard irl... this season. Ive read through the threads of old songs, some not bad ones in there, but would need someone who’s actually sung them before to start them. I’m also cautious of nostalgia related to our atmosphere ever being that good. As @franniesTachesaid, people who actually know these songs have moved away due to influx of those of my generation coming in (mostly from the northam). I’m not going saturday but I know Walsall have an everywhere we go ditty, of which our version is always there if one wishes to sound like a Cub Scout. It could or could not possibly be worse than singing at Stu Armstrongs fine hair or Onuachu’s d*ck.
  7. That got back up and running quickly. I was told only a few weeks before it wasn't going to come back at all.
  8. Thank the lord I stopped going away a few seasons back. It seems my generation of fan are actually obsessed with singing about libraries - I think it stems from what you see on tik tok and other "funniest football chants" videos... Which is why i'm content in the IN as atleast theres a very small group who sing songs about the city, club and occasionally players. This is despite the fact people try outsing us with unfunny banter my little sister wouldn't even find funny. Speaking as someone who cannot come up with a song for love nor money the makers of songs pre covid (think ings and IN arising) have deserted us and the vacuum has been entered by people the equivalent of John Lennon being replaced by Yoko. Unrealistic, but what we need is someone with a borderline obsessive music addiction becoming our lyrical genius as well as some old guy to give us some of the former repotoire of songs which involve the city - ie acceptable milton road songs which can be adapted or just copied. Young people have no idea of the tune and we're at a point where if you go to a game you'd think singing football in a library every two seconds is normal: knowing the words to our own forgotten chants could be a turning point to the opposite of what really could be rock bottom. For the record I though last home game was decent support with quite frequent player chants and only had that fratton park falling down sh*te once and OWTS kept to a minimum, which proved it to be loud. Even had a rendition of KUMB which was good though not loud Sorry for the fairly long reply about people singing at football matches, it ain't the f*cking X-Factor.
  9. Yes, i'd love Martin to use the new shoehorn formation he's been working on behind the scenes.
  10. I agree i'd rather saints were in the top division. I also agree with OP more games is fun. However, your point on TV and changing of times does not hold up - we've been pissed about way more this season then any of memory in the prem. Even last home game was a 6 o'clock kick off on a Friday.
  11. Considering all players must have had a relegation wage reduction, this doesn't add up. I'm looking mainly at Aribo still being so high (same salary as reported last season) and Smallbone being higher than KWP. Edit: And if true, who in their right mind sanctioned the Aribo £70,000 a week without a reduction
  12. Aren’t the fireworks thanks to lord and saviour, Supreme Leader Sadiq Khan? Happy New Year. Let’s hope this year is as good as the last! Can’t be bloody worse.
  13. Best Goal: Tella vs Wednesday Best Signing: Harewood Bellis Worst Signing: Orsic Game to remember: Man City 2-0 Game to forget: Forest / Sunderland Player Of The Year: Not a clue
  14. Disgusting to curse your own team during the 90 mins. At least wait until full time and do it on social media like everyone else.
  15. Football shouldn’t be mixed with politics so to see the saints TL last night filled with F*ck the Tories sentiment instead of football discussion is frustrating whatever your politics.
  16. We seem to be in the habit of one emphatic home victory followed by a scrappy away win. So to have two home games on the bounce is welcomed, hopefully we continue our home form to win 6-1 - the one for them being due to that Whittaker who always seems to score from distance.
  17. His would be called the daisy cutter as his fist would smash the floor
  18. Wasn’t there yesterday but from pictures I like the look of the Northam standing with extra blocks. Looks lovely.
  19. Change of tactics is probably due to Swansea understanding our system. With Leeds losing, Ipswich against Leicester tonight: if we win today could by rosy
  20. Ipswich finally playing a decent team.
  21. I see it as a win for fans if those lot leave, certainly wouldn't "ruin it for the rest of us". Sky and large ownerships have ruined football through corporotisation whereby now the fans of larger clubs are having to be supporters of Saudi Arabia and billionaire footballers. Having a sweep out to leave a English Football League Championship style league of the top division (with less money) would benefit football and fans of proper clubs not large brands as it has become.
  22. Americans pretending to be Irish
