I do. And I'm not suggesting they should be there, but 💯 who you play for will give you leverage over those that play for shit teams. Yeah, Ben White, Ben White, Ben White.... Granted, but Southgate hasn't exactly got a whole heap to choose from in THAT position has he.
-
Will take the win but that was god awful to watch with these players aswell.
-
I genuinely haven't got a clue what Southgate's trying to allegedly "build". We aren't losing, but we're absolutely fucking dire. With this set of players is abysmal.

This. People on here have no idea how much £30m quid is or what it looks like and what that pays for. If we got offered anything around or over that figure he's half way out the door. And it wouldn't be because he wants to leave as much as it would be being pushed to leave. We're financially properly in the shit.

That's Jim Ratcliffe then. He's been mentioned on here already. But if that was genuine and there was anything in it, he wouldn't piss about, he'd just put the money down. Gao's asking price is a drop in the bucket to him.

"dream move" Aston Villa. Really?
-
Not a chance Prowse leaves here, a club he captains for villa. Top 6 yeah absolutely and he should. Villa aren't getting in the Top 6 any time soon and he'll know that full well and he doesn't strike me as someone who would move purely and solely for money which would be the only thing left. P.S unless it was double what we're paying which I would doubt.

I would understand that if he hadn't paid £220m for an 80% acquisition. The Athletic saying he paid £180m to £200m I think that's inaccurate as iirc reports at the time said £220m. That's top dollar for 80%. That's not even a full buyout. Even pre-pandemic, how much was he expecting to make on that when PL clubs aren't a particularly profitable investment unless you're prepared to pour money in first? Then there was the whole sponsorship from "LD SPORTS".
-
^^^ I can't quote the whole entire thing but this is where I've always struggled since day 1. If this is true, why buy us? Just to sit on it? " Since that initial investment, however, Gao hasn’t put another penny in. It must also be said that he hasn’t ever taken a penny out, either."

So do I. Quite like Scotland / Northern Ireland and I know it's not UK but really like Ireland too. But Wales no way, they're horrible bastards, they really are. The animosity towards us in the rugby is real.
-
I absolutely guarantee you 99% of their fans will be hoping we get battered every game. They literally hate us. Rugby it's even worse.
-
Wales? You must be joking. They fucking hate us.
-
I haven't got a clue how it works so I'll take your word for it. Southgate still needs to win tomorrow imo he's getting heat after that V Scotland.
-
Considering Belgium are world #1 they couldn't have got an easier group if they picked it themselves ffs These commentators tripping over themselves in congratulation.
-
I'll never understand this. People who make shit up or want to appear like they know just to impress a bunch absolute fucking strangers on the internet. "Domino effect"... Yeah it's a transfer window you stupid fucking cunt.

Where's club 4? If it's where I'm thinking of, it's decent in there. If I was single. Ffs.

Jimmy Bullard David Batty Andy Carroll David Bentley Ricardo Fuller One of my cousin's now wife, dated Ricardo Fuller for a few years and apparently he didn't watch football or talk about it. Andy Carroll has said he has no interest in football and doesn't watch games at all and he once said he didn't even know what position Newcastle United were in the table before a game. Think it was Keegan who said about Batty hating football. David Bentley packed it in well before his time and opened a nightclub in Spain or something. Not 100% sure on Bullard but I think he doesn't like it either. I've heard it said about Luke Shaw as well from a mate who knows Clyne. As in, he liked football as a fan but didn't actually like being a football player. Apparently under Poch saints would do double training sessions and Shaw would go home, allegedly still with his parents (?), would order a pizza for lunch and go back in and never socialised with any of the players. Would never go on nights out or anything, he just stayed at home playing computer games. No idea how much of that is true but that's what I've heard about him. Footballers aren't fans. It's their job, it would be the equivalent of us working a 9-5, then living and breathing it 24x7 outside of work too.

For all the talk about Turkey, they're a young team I know, but they are shit.
-
She's dog rough aswell.
-
Oh right. Cheers. That's cleared that up.

They can't afford Mancini's ambition.

Thing is, there's no way Howe takes that job without a great big hoofwanking sack payoff clause in it, which he won't get from Levy. I suspect that's why they can't get a manager in that's prepared to take the job without one.
