I don't know what move Danny is going to get or thinks he's going to get. He's about to turn 29. His injury record is at least 2 decent injuries a season. BUT... He's a very good CF. But top 6 teams have their pick of "very good CF's" and I don't think they're going to pick Ings unless we're selling him cheap as in £10m or something. It's rumoured we want a £40m buyout clause, we're not getting that in a million years, I don't think we'd get £20m and if £20m was offered given his age and injuries I'd snap their arm off.

Jesus christ the state of this one here: "I couldn’t, I still cannot forgive Bobby Stokes, a Pompey lad scoring the winner to give them the only thing they have ever won. Karma, would be that little quisling coont Ward Prowse doing the same for them this year."

I swear I've never looked at Skate forum and what a bitter bunch of wankers they are. Some of those comments are pure hate. I worked in Portsmouth years ago on Goldsmith Avenue and my boss there at the time was a proper Portsmouth fan, he was one of the main naughty boys, all the portsmouth mob used to come into our garage and I'll tell you what, every single one of them was sound to me and they all knew I was a scummer. And trust me, my old boss was one of the main men, so it's actually quite difficult for me to spew that kind of hate towards them.

Just indulge me 😂

You are kidding right? I'd rather that than the continuous loop of "Southampton were dealt a crushing 9-0 defeat back in October 2019 blahhhh" Because we're going to suffer that throughout this entire fucking match. That's why I'm going to be watching it on mute and tuning into Solent for the commentary.

Leicester. Happy with that. That's the best outcome and retribution.

Not to get drawn into any argument here but this is a brilliant post. 👏

He's had a few ruled out this season that have been brilliant finishes and when I hear people talking about his recent goal draught, remember he's had some prick in St Georges park drawing crosshairs on the screen and scrutinising every possible movement rewinding/fast forward/slo-mo to rule it out. To me he's a lot more consistent than Redmond but it's a bit of a weird comparison in the first place because Redmond isn't generally deployed as a centre forward under Ralph. He did well yesterday but that's one game against Bournemouth.
-
I might be in the minority but I actually think Che Adams is a very good player. He's a good finisher and he's had a few goals ruled out this season that in the past would have stood. He works hard and I don't understand the stick he gets.

We'll draw City. City usually seem to get easier Semi Final draws and out of the pool we're the team everyone wants to draw, by that logic it'll be City.

That was the most 'suspect' sponsorship deal I've ever seen.

I'm watching the Sheffield United game and Mcburnie is absolutely bloody horrific. He's one of the biggest transfer signings for a Scottish player and he's Sheffield United's record signing aswell. £20m quid. He's awful. He really is fucking dire.
-
Nobody knows who he is let alone anything else.
-
I think it's more like Bale at the moment. He tried to make it Danny Rose but he wasn't counting on Rose to knock on his door and get there first live on camera in the Spurs documentary. That was fucking funny. He was always going to have an issue with Ali. He genuinely looks like he couldn't care less and that's why he can't get in the team.

Nope. It's like selling a house. I've got a house for sale at a price, if someone gives me that price, I don't give a shit what happens after that. Liebherr wants shot of us and so does Gao and the as a club need shot of both of them.
-
Are you talking about in the interim while Ings is out? Ok fair enough, he's probably ok for that but if you're talking permanently should Ings leave then no way. Although I can't honestly see who would sign Ings in the top 6 with his injury record. I'd be inclined to keep Danny and move on Obafemi or Lundulu. I'd rather it was Obefemi as the bloke can't stay fit and I haven't seen enough of Lundulu to say. We need another striker because one of those lot are going to be moved in the summer imo.
-
Diagne West Bromwich Albion striker looks to have something about him. He kept Austin out which probably isn't saying much. Looks ok for £8m I would think his price would be about. And bearing in mind West Bromwich Albion are dogshit.
-
Have we sold Gunn? If Newcastle go down I'd take Karl Darlow, sell McCarthy and let Darlow and Forster battle it out for the shirt. With Harry Lewis doing whatever it is he does.
-
No way would or could he replace Danny Ings. Puel played Redmond there for his entire tenure and it didn't consistently work, at least not to the point where you'd call him a centre forward. It worked today, but that's one game against Bournemouth, he's not a striker. I'm not sure what Nathan's best ideal position is, but he's not a Danny Ings replacement in a million years.

Jankewitz is a strange one and I'm desperate to see him in a competitive game for us. But on the one hand, we don't see him everyday in training and the one time we have seen him, he nearly ended someone's career. So what happens from here is really Ralph's call and Ralph wasn't playing him for a reason and against United we saw why (possibly). I don't think he'll get a game until we're mathematically safe and there's no harm that can be done by playing him. I would have expected him to have got on the pitch today though, all the same.
-
Armstrong was the best player on the pitch after Redmond. Walker-Peters was also really good. I like how consistent Kyle is, you know what you're going to get and I think he's crucial to Ralph's game, we struggle to play Ralph's philosophy without him. I'm hoping vokins gets there on the other side and improves with game time at Sunderland so he can come in at LB.
-
Haha. No. I live in Woolston. I drive past it everyday.
-
He was very good today but that isn't his best ever. For me that was the EFL cup semi Vs the bin dippers under Puel. He was unplayable that day. He beat the crap out of their defence. That's the best I've ever seen him.
-
I'm sorry but that is fucking funny. I'm dead 😂🤣
-
If we play like that Vs Burnley, we should go into next season with Ralph, under normal League schedule and not this ridiculous pileup of fixtures. Assuming we haven't been taken over and new owners bring their own man in. Can't really read too much into today's performance because Bournemouth are absolute toilet at the moment in a league below us.
