  1. Don't know anyone who likes it. I don't mind it, somehow literally stumbled into a proper gin bar in some obscure backstreet in Exeter city centre once and was ok. Wouldn't pay £40 quid for a bottle of Saints one though, would make a good gift like you say for novelty value. Not really into replica kits / shirts it's just not something I would ever wear and never have done.
  2. If it wasn't £40 quid a bottle, I'd be tempted to order one out of curiosity.
  3. Trust me, fans on here are pretty passive compared to fans of other forums. My brother in law is a Man United fan and their forum is in meltdown if one of their players scuffs a shot. My GF's brother is a Spurs fan and the Fighting Cock is fucking savage, this place is pretty fucking passive by comparison, go and look at the Jose Mourinho thread on there, fuck me they're a lynch mob. Good luck to Janick Vestergaard with that lot.
  4. I've had: 1 Lambert Signed Framed shirt 2 X Saints FC Glass the £10 quid one. Girlfriend broke one. 1 X Saints FC Mug But what the hell is this: https://www.southamptonfc.com/store/souvenirs-gifts/executive-gifts/c-1/c-274 "Limited Edition Winchester Pitch Infused Gin" Wtf is 'Pitch Infused' supposed to mean?
  5. Why is there a meltdown about Vestergaard? What have I missed?
  6. Well alright fair enough if they want him but the bloke is going to be 32 at the start of next season, if they're interested it will be because he's free and highly doubt they see him as a starter, he'll be backup at best. If he really wants to leave us, good luck to him but it doesn't make a lot of sense, it's not like it's going to be a one last big payday is it? I mean, how much are they really going to offer a 32 year old LB? I'd suggest not a great deal more than he's on here. He's probably on £60K or thereabouts here.
  7. Are you an insider on here? How do you know that? Who's in for Bertrand? Looking around I can't see any clubs better than us screaming out for a 30 something LB...he's the one player who's being rumoured left, right and centre because he hasn't signed his contract, but I can't see where he's going to go... He's not going to leave us to be back up somewhere else and like someone else commented, he did an Interview where he said he had aspirations to move upstairs here, can't remember if he explicitly said here, but he alluded to it at the very least. So what's changed?
  8. Short career? Why do people say that? Most players by the time they retire they'd have done a 20 year shift. That's more than you'd retire on doing National Service on a full pension, except they'd be multi-millionaires several times over.
  9. It all sounds a bit tenuous at best. "2 players both International team mates, so one must be joining the other ones club because they both played for the same team in the past". I've not seen any full-on story on it beyond the usual shit after every international break ahead of a summer window and even if it's true, Vestergaard would be stupid to go there of all places, he's prone to mistakes and I reckon he'll get a pass for about 3 mistakes before their dickhead fans are on his case. He'd be better off going to Leicester City or something. Not Spurs.
  10. That and also his comparison to No of Covid19 deaths Vs car crashes during the height of the first lockdown was just breathtakingly stupid or absolute ignorance of the situation, which was something like 800 people/day dying at that point from suffocation. He was arguing with people on twitter who were trying to point out to him that car crashes aren't exponentially contagious. Legend or not, thought the bloke a complete tosser after that.
  11. Seriously? It was a comment. Just leave it at that.
  12. Wtf are you talking about mate?
  13. I honestly don't get how he get's battered. We paid £10M quid for him and he does a decent job and he's got a finish on him.
  14. I'm fighting with every inch of my body not to wind you right up with this, but I can't bring myself to troll you that badly. I know who you're referring to and no. Southampton born and bred haha. This could be such a brutal wind up aswell. I'll let you off.
  15. We'll go into next season with him but I don't think he'll survive another dogshit run of form. Mind you I've said that about 3 times in the past 18 months.
  16. He was listed on a company website as an employee but I can't remember what it was. It was along those lines though.
  17. When we signed Lemina he was being bigged up by the likes of Balague & co as Paul Pogba MK2 and how much of a coup he was. Anyway, I don't get the hype with Keita, he's looked bang average everytime I've seen him.
  18. If you're talking about Keita, he's 26 and made just about 50 appearances for Liverpool in the 3 years he's been there. Considering the sheer amount of games Liverpool get and making the final stages of most cup competitions they've been in, that is every bit as bad an injury record as Ings, probably worse. I don't watch Spanish football but the commentators last night were saying Real Madrid aren't exactly playing world beating football right now and he got hooked after 42 minutes. He's played 2 games all season. He isn't who we want or need. Unless he's free and takes a massive wage cut and even then I wouldn't.
  19. Romeu is a mile better than him. He got hauled off before halftime lastnight. So is Diallo.
  20. I can play better than a 6 year old, if that's what you mean. I think the general point, albeit a pointless point, is that footballers are often revered but also thick as pig shit most of them. That being said Frank Lampard is supposed to have degrees outside of football and also Watmore at Middlesbrough has a law degree I think.
  21. Liverpool are very lucky to have come out of that game at 3-1 last night. Had Asencio not fucked up numerous simple passes including a nailed on goal on the counter it would have been 4 at least. Klopps has already said on SSN this morning the ref had a personal vendetta against Mane. Haha.
  22. Nothing to do with Lambert but I have seen Daniel Sturridges, or what was accepted to be, Daniel Sturridges handwriting first hand. He writes like a fucking 6 year old with crayons.
  23. In the same show, he also named his England starting 11. He had Stones, Maguire & Keane in a back 3 ffs.
  24. Cunting Durham on TalkSport had Liverpool on for a 5-0 win. The flipping Prat.
  25. I honestly think it's all in his head. If his head is in the game, it doesn't matter where he plays. He can play football, his head just isn't in often enough. That's how I see Redmond.
