  1. What? Even after limping off V spurs for his 5th injury this season right in front of Levy. He's been linked with them virtually all year and after that last week I can't see it.
  2. We have. We've got er...Ed Chamberlain and Lucy Pinder.
  3. Tottenham just offered their stadium as a CL venue after a few clubs lost the opportunity after this ESL shitstorm. As if UEFA would give it to spurs after all this lmao.
  4. This thread title needs to be changed to "Takeover" rather than De Grosa takeover. He didn't even go past the exclusivity period did he?
  5. These type of rumours about top level club executives don't get into the mainstream unless it's deliberately leaked. If this is even halfway true, I reckon we've got a pretty serious buyer lined up with his/her own independent vision and will bring in their own people from top to bottom. That is exactly what we need, we need to rip up the script and completely root and branch start again. I'm pretty excited about what might be coming because it can't get any worse.
  6. If we sell Prowse and stick with Ralph, then Ralph's system falls apart completely. He's played every game for 2 years straight under Ralph I heard mentioned, or something like that. Even if we sold Prowse and got £30m it would take at least £25M to get anywhere near a Premier League replacement. Without Prowse in the team I reckon we'd be one of the bottom 3.
  7. That's a fair point. On that basis I'd stick with Ralph if he, or the club, bring in a PROPER no2. The bloke needs help. But Ralph has enough reach/stock/influence whichever word you like, within this club and the board to get a No2 if he really wanted one. If he's too stubborn and/or arrogant to bring one in then that's another conversation. As for Captain/leader on the pitch, we haven't had that since Jose Fonte.
  8. No fan of any club should be making excuses for 10pts in 4 months and a 9-0 thrashing chucked in. The form table since new year's Day has our points haul as 5 worse than fucking Sheffield United. (I think. I can't remember it was mentioned on Sky lastnight). That is piss poor whichever way you slice it with this squad because our squad isn't great but it isn't 10pts in 4 months bad.
  9. 4. We've taken 10pts in the last 4 months. How is he still in a job.
  10. Blokes fucking clueless.
  11. Well here's what I'll say to that. On the 21st May I'll be at AFC Totton for ex saints Vs Totton. I look exactly as I do in this picture taken about November, so you can say all of that to my face. But anyway, I'm here to talk about football, not almost constantly 'butting heads' with helmets like you constantly looking for an argument or sniping at someone. Get laid.
  12. You're another one who shoots his mouth off in complete anonymity when in reality I reckon you're about 5ft, 50+ and look something like the Wealdstone Raider. Was it you who put the banner up across Millbrook flyover in a demonstration of this "fan power". But you carry on fella.
  13. It's not over. This will come up again. Maybe not as bluntly, but it will.
  14. Will you fuck off quoting me. If you think Johnson got involved "for the fans" when he's probably never put foot in a stadium in his life, and not for any other reason, then I'll pat you on the head and say you believe whatever you want to believe poppet.
  15. I can't see it in the near future. The fact that the last 72hrs has even happened makes the Premier League a massive gamble. Unless we get bought by somebody with gobs and gobs of cash and doesn't mind taking a punt of a couple of hundred million.
  16. All of these apologies from these owners are audacious. The brass fucking gall. The mass media are still running with the narrative this was all the fans doing. They didn't give a shit about the fans and would have pressed ahead with it had it not been the very real threat of being thrown out of the CL, Premier League and Johnson's warning.
  17. This was coming. The bubble has well and truly burst and I'm glad it has.
  18. Fair play. Didn't think Maguire had it in him tbh
  19. This is fuck all to do with the fans. It's this pack of clubs being complete and utter bottle jobs when it came down to the crunch.
  20. How do you know that? Where did you get that?
  21. Jesus Christ. This has been an absolutely mental 48hrs.
  22. Don't think it's that. Johnson's comments today seemed fairly pointed at Abramovich today without actually saying his name that Abramovich just thought it isn't worth the heat. Chelsea want their new stadium to go through etc and other such shit. I think that means more to him than the ESL and let's face it, it's pretty ambiguous at best. This isn't fans or fan power, this is Chelsea, City & Spurs not wanting to take the gamble of being chucked out of the Premier League and CL. Reports today from several Blue tick journos that UEFA were deadly serious.
  23. As much as I dislike the whole thing, he's not wrong is he.
  24. Was just confirmed by crook on TS it is Levy who doesn't like it. Described as being "uncomfortable in his chair" in the last 24hrs.
