The ony way Jan will go is if he resigns. Thats why the fans need to target him with abuse as games as i don't think he'd be difficult to break. I like Jan as a person but he need to do whats right for this club an thats to leave. If he wn't then the fans need to pressure him n to it.......

I think the only way we can get change is if Jan resigns as i don't think Lowe will sack him! If the fans put pressure on Jan over the next few games it may well work as i see him as a man who is very emotional and i can't see him taking to much stick before he walks. Instead of targetting Lowe at games it might be an idea to vent your frustration at Jan?????

Huckerby is no longer a Norwich player, was released at end of season and now plays in MLS. I had a thought about Cureton going back there and scoring against us the other day

I am sure |Lowe will get the blame on if there isnt a sell on clause

Time for some good old fashioned name dropping
Paul Chuckle replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
I also remember a few years back when Jumpin Jacks was the place to be on a Weekend that i would olways bump in to Lundekvam (Top Bloke handing out shots and getting Ciggys off people), Anders Svennson (another top guy remember chatting to him for ages in there after he had bagged 2 against Leicester), Stuart Ripley looking really shiffty and looking like he would knock you out if you even looked at him. MLT with Curly Watts from Corrie but the funniest moment was when my mate went to the loo in Jacks one night and pushed the cubicle door open only to find Matty sat on the loo, trousers round his ankles and head in his hands -

When i worked part time at one stop when i was at college (99-01) Brian O'Neil used to always come in and chat to me in the early hours. Never believed him at first when he told me he played for Saints Steve Wigley used to also come in whilst he was at Forest with David Platt. I remember asking him if Platt was coming to Soton as he had been linked shortly after Hoddle left and he said why do you need another manager as you already have a decent one (Talking about Stuart Gray lol). Jim Joyce used to also come in wearing the shotest shorts ever come wind or rain. I asked him a few times about who would be fit on the Saturday and i found he wasn't really that bothered. -

I would just pay off the debts and ask for a directors box for live and a place on the board. I wouldn’t want to own the club. I would only pay the debts off though on the understanding that Poortvleet is removed. I would also fund 3 or 4 loan signings- Leroy Lita, Dean Winda$$, a proper right back and a decent centre half. So Here’s hoping I win the 50 million on Friday:)

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/7777584.stm Southampton midfielder Andrew Surman has said he is ready to play in the Premier League. Reports have suggested that cash-strapped Saints may try and sell Surman during the January transfer window. And Surman, 22, told BBC Radio Solent: "I feel I'm ready to step up to Premier League level. "Any player wants to play as high as they can. I'd love to play in the Premier League for the benefit of my personal career." He added: "I'm a Southampton player at the moment, and it will remain that way until I hear otherwise." Surman has come through the ranks at Southampton and is a product of their successful Academy. He signed a new deal with the club last year, which runs until 2011. Earlier in his career he enjoyed loan spells at Walsall and Bournemouth. He added: "Some players step up to the Premier too early and end up in the reserves, but I've played over 100 games now, so I feel I'm ready for the next level."

Income from the sale of The Dell site for housing
Paul Chuckle replied to eelpie's topic in The Saints
Here is your answer http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/the_company_file/448938.stm Southampton FC has agreed to sell its stadium, The Dell, to housing developer Barratt Homes in a deal worth £5m Saints chairman Rupert Lowe: "We must leave the Dell behind" The Premiership club plans to build a new 32,000 all-seater stadium, on the site of a disused gasworks, in the St Mary's area of the city. Southampton FC moved to The Dell just over 100 years ago. In 1898 the cost of building a football ground was £10,000. The total cost of building a new stadium in St Mary's will be about £30m pounds. The site will include banqueting facilities for 900 people, 40 corporate hospitality boxes and office space. Southampton plans to finance the move with bank loans, grants and a new share issue, which is expected to raise £3 million. The sale of The Dell will need the approval of shareholders in Southampton Leisure, the stock market listed company which owns the football club. The chairman of Southampton Leisure, Rupert Lowe, said the new stadium will increase revenues from home matches and from corporate events. -
no loss IMO Since Preston game he has come back in and we have lost both games. Yes he is talented and still young but at times he frustrates hell out of me and because we are playing him in THE HOLE it is stopping us i feel from playing 2 up front. If we get a good fee for him then i wouldn't be too upset to see him go.

i went there a few years back. Is it still called Cheeky Monkeys? a good night though
-
no its not as we have scored 1 hence the 1-5 prediction
