That lazy player almost singlehandedly kept us in the Premiership for many years. Forget all the covid bolics and conspiracy theories, and just remember we had one of the most talented players around wearing the red and white, not some money grabbing, get rich quick guy who doesn't give a fuck about loyalty. He might be controversial now but that will never take away his contribution to SFC. Should add, I go back to the days of Terry Paine, Ron Davies, Mick Channon, so I don't say the above lightly. Like others, really enjoyed the old memories on this thread. Seems like only yesterday when standing under the chocolate boxes at the Milton road in the 70s as a young teenager. If we go down that route then Peter Shilton won 125 caps, but most of them came whilst playing for other clubs. Not sure how many caps Yoshida got whilst playing for Saints.
