Yes, I was at the back row also for the league cup final against Man U a few years back. Once I got used to the view from a different angle, it wasn't bad. Take in the whole atmosphere of the stadium.

I'm right at back at the top so the cheap and cheerful theater binoculars I "err borrowed" from the Mayflower theater the other night might come in handy !! ππ€£

Sorted, not to painful once in room to buy. Error message came up but simply clicked on buy tickets. Selected seats but they had gone so went for automatic allocation. (. Advice picked up from previous comments on here so worth following this thread) Not quite as painful or stressful as anticipated. Now will be panicking on post arriving π

Now it says redirected in 45 minutes !!

My first problem was copying those numbers to get into waiting room. Kept saying I'd got them wrong. Pasted them in the end. Now in quΓ©!!

Personally, after reading the comments on here I'm dreading tomorrow at 9.30 when my purchase window opens. My IT/ computer knowledge just about gets me by as long as things are reasonable straight forward, otherwise the computer will go flying out the window !!! Oh for the days when we used to que round the old Dell carpark for the ticket office in the corner of the West stand and matey used to come round with his click counter in his hand saying, you should be ok or could be dodgy queuing past this point ππ

They went on sale at the start of the season for the loyal supporters to buy, as opposed to glory hunters buying cheap at the end of the season for the big finale ππ

Sadly you're right and they've been having my money for best part of 60 years. What pisses me off is if people who maybe only go to one game very occasionally will now have the same priority in the ticket queue simply by buying a half price membership now, just so they can be at the glamour game if and when at Wembley
-
I see the club are now offering Membership plus at half price which is solely so you can buy tickets for the playoffs. So us suckers who bought this package at the start of the season so we could have priority window for tickets for big games are now in with the masses when it comes to the playoffs. Am I the only one who thinks this is a bit naughty by the club, both by ripping punters off and not giving priority to those who've had membership all season. So in theroy, someone who has never been to a game can buy their half price membership and still have same priority for tickets as loyal fans who've been going all season. Then again I haven't seen anyone else complain , yet !!!! (I know, there's always some moaning old git about the way tickets are sold, before anyone has a pop ππ)

Interesting how we took 50,000 to Wembley that day but yesterday the EFL trophy between Peterborough and Wycombe only attracted a total of 42,000 between them. We certainly have the fans when doing well and chance of winning a trophy !!

Any old timers on here remember Johnny Sydenham, he did just that for years. π

https://www.odditycentral.com/pics/artist-spends-17-years-carving-model-of-the-hms-victory.html Umm, was always going to be dodgy with his Pompey connections. From a Ted Bates statue to carving HMS Victory ππ«£. No surprise it looked more like Milan Mandric then. π€£

Here's one of his great quotes. Reflecting on the incredible events Capt. Moody mused: βWhen I learnt to fly in the 50s, flying was dangerous and sex was safe. βWhen I retired in the 90s, that had gone the other way around!β RIP Sir

Oh dear, this is never going to go away. Just been featured on BBC'S One show. ππ«£ Peak time viewing !!!!

Be interesting if Leicester finish up in the FA cup final on the Saturday with the playoff finals the following day on the Sunday π€. That might cause a few problems !

Just announced on official website. Rearranged for Tuesday 16th April, 7.45 KO. Going to be a busy April. !!

I always use the Hindu temple in Radcliffe Road ( SO14 0PS). Less than half a mile from stadium, it's a tenner to park but it's an easy walk especially with a 6 yr old kid. Don't leave it to late though, an hour before kick off and it gets full.

0-5. Double figures are on and it's only 39 minutes gone !!!

I thought Charles has been half decent tonight

Also saying if we play out from the back good luck with that......3 times !!!!!!

Yes, agreed. I was also wondering where the away coaches will be parked then ? The police , when St Mary's opened originally had a big say in where the away supporters were located. Dispersing the away fans seemed to work reasonably well from that corner straight onto their coaches parked in Britannia road.

Sad news. Gave everything as a player and after taking over from Laurie put together another exiting team when manager. RIP.
