You sure the message hasn't come from one of those dodgy links that gets you to click on it if you want a refund and then you find your bank account empty. π€π

Not on official website yet , has anyone told Saintsπ€

Just finished reading Fran Benali autobiography and like Shearer and Le Tiss previously they all speak highly of Dave, all saying how in the youth team he moulded them not just into footballers but prepared them for life. Not sure how his strict methods as in running his finger around checking for dust after they had cleaned the changing rooms and if not satisfied they would have to start again would go down with today's academy graduates though. Good guy, Southampton through and through.

Your post seems to hint of a Saints bias on this forum, surerly not.π€π

π€£π€£. Opps, Well spotted,. Maybe I meant Angus !!!!

Bryn Gunn played his first premiership game yesterday since 'that night' and poor sod let in five against Arsenal. No real glaring errors but after waiting two years for another premiership start his confidence must be shot to pieces.

Is this our season turning point ? Great win Saints, happy Xmas
-
Err we're winning at West Ham π€

That aged well

Not even a season ticket holder, just a mere member and even I got the presentation box with a card inside , oh and a badge !!! Have to say the excitement on opening the box was off the scale. Brain storming session in the marketing dept worked well this Xmas then, ππ.

Ralph seemed to be checking his mobile phone when JWP scored , think maybe his Mrs was asking him to pop in and get some milk on the way home, and he completely missed the strike. Pleased with the point, not easy place Selhurst Park.
-
Indeed, more worrying is our manager admitting not knowing what's happening on the pitch.
-
Seems Ralph is backtracking with his remarks he made after the game and his critiscm of McCarthy. Almost an apology, I think we can assume words were 'spoken' in the changing room after Ralphs interview !!! Alex McCarthy: Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl says it was 'not perfect' to question goalkeeper's professionalism Hasenhuttl: "I was not perfect to do this after the game. I didn't have all the information I should have after the game and that is always an issue. I hadn't spoken with everybody. I know more now about what happened on the pitch and I would do it differently" By PA Media

You available for Saturday ?
-
Subconsciously, it could alter his future decisions, that's the point why they get in the refs face.
-
Merse giving us praise on Sky saying '...if we play like that against teams in bottom half we'll stay up definitely, not all doom and gloom'.....
-
I know things are bad at Old Trafford but Sparky Hughes now being touted as their saviour . Oh dear !!!
-
Just saw this flash up on sky sports news. Had to play it back as I thought I had misread it. Norwich, really !!! Got to be some sort of betting scam.
-
I'm always an optimistic fan but don't let's get to silly !!! ππ.
-
I was just thinking that π

So in reply to the header...where's our next clean sheet going to come from.... certainly answered today against West Ham. Defence looked solid , Salisu and Stephens good partnership, McCarthy looked decent, its goals we need.

I was there in the 60s when Dennis Hollywood taught George Best how to hurdle !!!! Nostalgia eh !!
-
I was there for 6-3 win, Oct 96 but it was the previous April the grey shirt fiasco and that was a 3-1 win for us. Won many a bet with people getting the 2 games mixed up. Never thought a Saints supporter on our own forum would make that mistake though

Having trouble getting my oap discount. Got charged the full whack for tickets, didn't notice until the confirmation email came through. Two seasons ago no problem , it was automatic. They obviously think I've got younger .Will give the ticket office a buzz Monday and get a tenner back, hopefully. Any other old timers had a problem ?

The disappointing home defeats you completely obliterate then ?
