I've never read so many nice things about Ralph on here as I have in the last few hours. !!!! But yes, time was up, thanks Ralph for your hard work and loyalty. I was in block 3 and there was a family sat in front of us, quiet no problem, enjoying the game, and a woman next to us started asking everyone near her are you Arsenal fans. She asked the quiet family and the young lad on his first visit to a game innocently said Yes, should add he wasn't wearing any colours so you would never have known it as he sat quiet but I think the rest of the family were Saints fans. That was it, she screamed for a steward, 'throw them out, Arsenal fans shouldn't be in here' . Well officially of course she was correct, but here's an instance where common sense should have prevailed. If anything had kicked off who would have been to blame??

That policy certainly worked for Laurie back in 1983, runners up in the old Div 1 with Shilton, Mills, Nicholl, Rofe, Armstrong, Holmes, all thirty and above. Continuity in staff makes sense in many environments but probably not in a football club when a new manager comes in. They need their own staff around them. Shame to see people lose their jobs but it had to be done.
