  1. It's always going to be difficult to find a manager who is prepared to take on a relegation contender team. Leicester found that out when they were trying to replace Maresca. My choice would be Michael Carrick but would he leave Middlesborough ?
  2. Yeah. They would love Cooper after that. I can't see Martin surviving if you lose at home to Leicester. Boring Defensive Cooper against Play Out From The Back Martin. Should be fun !!!
  3. I get the feeling that Potter is holding out for a "big job". Not many managers had any interest in joining Leicester with a large points deduction looming.. I don't think Cooper was attracting too many offers at the time so took it anyway. He is very unpopular with Leicester fans at the moment !!!
  4. I like Cameron Archer but I agree with you that his style of play doesn't fit with how Martin wants to play.
  5. That was definitely the most entertaining Premier league game of the weekend !!
  6. What is embarrassing is that the Independent Panel ruling on the appeal said that the PSR rules "are, in relevant parts, far from well drafted". A multi billion pound business that has left loop holes in its rule book is a bit comical. Leicester wont be too popular at the next EPL meeting but I'm guessing they don't care.
  7. Leicester moved their financial end of year back one month which is allowed & by doing so were not in the EPL when the charges were laid. A technicality but it held up on appeal. It reflects poorly on the EPL as it shows their incompetence by not closing a loophole.
  8. Hard to say what the points deduction will be. Leicester have pushed back since being charged & there is talk that we may have gone over in the Championship as well.
  9. So many managers want to play out from the back these day but there are so many teams that don't have a keeper who capable of doing it. It drives me crazy when a team persists with it even though the players are not capable.
  10. I've watched a few games & yes he does stand out but the Scottish Premiership is such a poor league that it's hard to judge how well he would do in the Premier.
  11. I think there is quite a bit to be gained from the game. There is a strong possibility of meeting Leeds in the playoffs so laying a beating on them now would lay down a marker. The reverse of that is the damage it would to if Leeds get an easy win.
  12. Thanks for that very clear & very interesting explanation
  13. He has been excellent all season.
  14. I've been watching football for over 65 years & I don't know what a foul is either.
  15. Maintaining a position in the top half of the Premier league is a success in itself. Being financially successful, developing young players & not changing managers are all signs of a well run & successful organization.
  16. Clubs like Brighton & Brentford have shown that good planning & good management will bring success. Chelsea have proven that money wont buy success without good planning & management.
  17. I think picking up Willy Caballero as a coach may have saved the day !!
  18. Leicester had 12 players leave & 10 players come in in the Summer. That was their rebuild
  19. It's one the things that make me mental about football these days. All these young managers want to play like Pep but very few teams have the players to execute that style of football. Surely they need to build a team first to fit the plan rather than install a plan that doesn't fit the players.
  20. I don't think so, James Justin is a stand up kind of guy. But you are welcome to think the worst .
  21. Even Leicester player James Justin said it wasn't a red. I hope it gets rescinded.
  22. Go to the Fighting Cock & you will find lots of them.
  23. It's the proper thing to do !!
  24. That's funny cause he says nice things about you
  25. Neither Bertrand or Vestergaard have been starting lately but may get a chance to play with this busy schedule. Leicester fans are not very happy with either player !!
