I didn’t think he was terrible, some dodgy moments but equally some good ones. Latvia also gave it away in dangerous areas at times.

Thought we battled hard but Villa were better at pressing and bullying, we did match them more in the second half. Frustratingly the ref didn’t let the game flow and blew up for a free kick every time a Villa player was touched. All in all not too bad, but glaringly obvious we’re not good enough up front.

if I was describing a game to someone that wasn’t there, I would tell them how many sitters we misssed and half chances created while dominating for most of the game ect. I certainly wouldn’t tell them our XG score is this and our XA score is that. We all know that Chez Adam’s should have scored a lot more than he has, but I don’t need a spreadsheet to tell me that.
